The Ribeye Steak was cooked perfectly. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was dry and we both didn't like the house made BBQ sauce. The Oregon Iced Tea was a nice refreshing drink to compliment my dinner.

The Best Happy Hour in town! Everyday has a Special Drink, like Martini Fridays. We come here often, Food is always fresh & tasty. Coldest Beers in town. Customer service is the Best in town, too. Also, family friendly.

It's always been hit and miss regarding service, but we arrived 45mins before closing (all work in the hospitality industry so understand if its too late) the young woman said no problem and let us sit out back, the server walked by and let out the biggest sigh about us being out there, immediately gave us a time limit to order any food or drinks*table next to us ordered a whole bottle of wine** so we only ordered an appetizer because we felt like an inconvenience, then kept sighing everytime she walked by our table. It was very strange, over the top, easily could have said they were not serving anymore and we would have gone elsewhere.

Wow, food, drinks, desserts, and a fancy old pub/bar feel. This was the first time that I had gone to Golden Valley, but it will not be my last.I was super impressed with the small home feel of the food, incredibly well portioned, delicious and filling. The service was prompt, light and informational, and most of all…friendly. Even with a packed house of clients…the service team was so good.Besides for the food, the beer selection on tap was amazing. They offer everything, Porter, Stouts, IPA, ciders, and my favorite now…a good sour. They offer a really fun presentation of beers to taste by the looks of it, 10 different styles. That may be the way to go to find the perfect flavor for your palette. We will be back. Order more of the specials, and definitely try to leave more room for that incredible Oreo cookie dessert they had.

We stopped in after a long drive from Olympia, WA and work (construction, so we weren't exactly groomed). The beers and cocktails were delicious. We got the curry with chicken, pot pie, and 1/2 rack ribs for dinner. Ribs were cold, fries were hot. The pot pie was more like an appetizer than dinner. My guy left hungry. My curry was delicious and totally on point. We tried getting our second round from the food runner and she deferred us to our server whom I hadn't seen for over 10 minutes while our glasses sat empty. Our 6 drinks were almost as much as dinner. Overall it was ok and I'm glad we tried it out but we won't be going back.

We were in town for the McMinville Food & Wine Festival. Decided this restaurant out of a whim. We were seated immediately and served quickly. I asked the waitress how the meatloaf was and she said it was a house favorite. (Maybe all waitresses say that about every menu item, no matter what) When my food arrived, I couldn’t actually see the meatloaf because it was covered in gravy, as if the cook wanted to hide the meat. I bit into it and all I could taste was burnt hamburger. So, I moved the top slice over and could see that it was burnt and charred. Both slices were charred. I could taste nothing but burned meat. And the mashed potatoes were watery and tasteless. I would have sent it back, but I am always afraid of what an angry cook might do to the food if I complain. My partner ordered the fish and chips. I had some of hers, since my food wasn’t palatable. It was good. And the fries were delicious. They were battered fries. Needless to say, I will not visit this restaurant again if I am ever in McMinnville.

Been here a few times. Most recently for their good 2022 YCAP Melt Down fundraiser sandwich.

We were greated promptly and warmly by the hostess and crew. Place was active for 3:00 on a Sunday, but there was no lapse in service. Our waiter took our order, filled our drinks -- even brought one in our group two beer samples so he could choose the best one. The happy hour buger was deliciously char broiled and my companions' sandwiches--a BLT and a Ruben--were generously portioned. Next time I'm at this restaurant, I'm trying the Baby Back Ribs!

We were jerks that came in 1/2 before closing, however it wasn't an issue. Our food came out quickly, was delicious, and the staff was gracious. We got our dinners, ate, and were still out by closing. Would highly recommend.

I live near McMinnville and came here during the pandemic because you could eat outside. I had the salad with flank steak and it was INCREDIBLE. Now, I just think about going there all the time for that salad. Their regular hamburgers, steaks and pasta are also excellent. I take my out-of-town guests there and they love it.
