Ok, when was the last time you had an actual milkshake straw in your milkshake??!! Are you kidding me? Hubby had vanilla and I had chocolate. You can't get the shake to the top of the straw without a bit of work. But hey, fabulous once it comes out! Tons of flavors but we like the basics! Basic burgers on the grill, but don't get me wrong, they have a killer selection of things including fried pickles! We shared fries and onion rings. Our large dog patiently waited for one to fall her way! Indoor dining so cute. We ate outside on one of over a dozen tables. Definitely will return. Friendly staff.

This place has a very cool 50's vibe. Go see the Elvis movie in the theaters now and then go to Alf's. Food is very good. I had a strawberry milkshake and I wanted to have 5 more. There's also a live monkey there, which is different, but he was absent when we visited. Ya gotta visit Alf's
Perfect flavors for everything, my chicken strips and French fries weren’t over salted or over cooked they both had the perfect crisp too them. My husband enjoyed his homemade patty melt and said not only was it perfectly cooked but the flavor was just right. The gals working today were both eager to assist and very friendly. You can’t beat the service or the food, especially at their prices! If you haven’t stopped off here it is HIGHLY recommended, they make all their Pattie’s by hand and their own ice cream! Come on down and give these girls a shout out!! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!!!
Can’t comment on the food but I can comment on the shakes.They were decent. I was sort of expecting hand scooped ice cream with it given the nature of this old school diner but it appears to be all from a machine.They were also short staffed. I get it. Everyone is. The problem is you had two employees just standing in the back not doing anything and it took almost 20 minutes just to get my shakes. Also the tables and floors were dirty. Like I said understand being short staffed and not having staff to do things but they had two not doing anything at all.Over all it was decent. I may come back and try the food if I’m ever in the area again.
Tasted great! Ice cream tasted unique but in a fantastic way! Atmosphere of dine in was cute.
After much anticipation, I had a meal from Alfs. The milkshake was wonderful! That was it. The meat in the burger was flavorless and tough. Overall, the cheeseburger tasted more like old pickle relish than anything else. The fries were your regular crinkle cut fries like you get in the frozen food section of the grocery store. Nothing remarkable... the Gal working said that they've been open 1966 and there's a reason why... not seeing it...
