Lovely surprise we landed onto. We had the roof top seating, enjoyed the. Reece and the view. Service was great from the front desk to the servers.
Great meal from the beautiful rooftop. My favorites were the steak bites appetizer and the bread pudding for dessert. My server was sweet and attentive!
Although pleasant our server brought us our 5 meals with two of them inaccurate. Child menu cheese pizza with bacon.. it came with pepperoni on it.. it did have bacon, though. Another was a hamburger thatâs was ordered, GF bun and no onions.. it came with onions. Since this were my grandchildren, I asked them if weâd like to return the dishes and get new ones⦠They both said they would work around it and they pulled off the pepperoni off the pizza and the onions off the hamburger.. but they should not have had to do that.
Itâs over priced for food and service provided.
Just ok. Being completely honest, it seems the rooftop is over run and the lower floors get the leftovers. Itâs truly a sight to see. Our visit was a special occasion for my husbands birthday, which started pretty great with bread and steak bites as an appetizer with cocktails that were very delicious. The entreeâs we ordered were the pork chop and the ribeye. Both were nicely cooked but the vegetables were tough and VERY undercooked. Quite literally inedible. Not a big deal for the most part but still, when youâre paying over $100 for two plates, the expectation needs to be exceeded. The real deal breaker for us was the serverâs breath after he decided to take a smoke break. It completely ruined the experience as my husband and I cannot stand that smell. Being a person who worked as a waiter during college life, itâs completely unacceptable to smoke during a shift when youâre serving food, since people who donât smoke can be really turned off by it. The waiter was nice enough to comp our wine which warranted a decent tip but I am afraid given our experience, I wouldnât recommend this place to anyone we know. Proceed with caution.
Family I hadnât seen in years was coming in from SF for dinner. They have two kiddos, we needed a kid friendly menu. I had suggested 1882 rooftop, had celebrated sons 21st birthday here in May. A fun night! Made reservations hoping to get a rooftop table, we did!! It was a perfect evening from the minute we walked in the door. Our server Rob was amazing. Engaging with us all, the kids were happy too! Every dish was delish, and generous. Thank you 1882 Grille for a memorable evening. L. Hart
Great food, spacious outdoor dining, and a friendly, personable waiter was a winning combination for my birthday yesterday.
Delicious food, great ambiance, Rob was amazing... Yummy drinks and food at a good price
Our experience today at 1882 Grille was phenomenal. There were 3 adults and 1 child in my party. We were seated right away, on 3rd floor roof. The service was excellent and speedy. The artisan bread was perfect, crunchy crust and pillow soft inside. I wish I had ordered the larger size but then again, we would have ate it all! We had the perfect amount for the 4 of us. The olive oil was served in a mini cast iron pan, it was so cute and dressed up the bread board. I had the beet salad and it was the best I've had. Great meld of flavors. Two had the the wrap, and were very pleased. My 11 year old had the Hamburger on the kids meal and finished it all. It looked amazing, and the bun looked awesome! Definitely going back.
Perfect spot to enjoy your evening with your loved ones.
