We had a big group for brunch and was glad they were able to seat us all together (we made reservations ahead of time)! However, they wouldn’t split the check which was weird, even though we had 18 different people ordering their own meals. They said it was because they do everything family style, but this seemed more like an excuse to not have to split checks and to be able to bring food out whenever it was finished rather than all at once. We thought the portions would be shareable because it was “family style”, but they were definitely only one-person sized portions. Other than that, the food was really good! It’s fun that they have a changing menu. My favorite thing I tried was the ginger carrot bread with cream cheese. The biscuit (pictured) was good and they had a great selection of drinks. My croque madame was good but honestly a little too cheesy for my tastes. Definitely a place worth checking out for brunch!

I went to Tasty because my 7 year old wanted to try it (he's an adventurous eater). We didn't have a reservation but they still managed to seat us. The staff is wonderful, the dishes are varied with options for everyone, and my son says it's one of his top 5 restaurants. We tried:- The Spanish octopus- The Tasty mac and cheese (they have a version for kids also)- Several shrub sodas- The buccatini- The radicchio salad- The burrata salad- The Mississippi mud pie- The passion fruit tartThey were all excellent, aside from the radicchio salad which was a tad too salty. So glad they're in Lake Oswego now!

Food is delicious! We tried the hush puppies, tasty burger, and the grilled short rib sandwich. All items were 10/10!

We had a late reservation on valentines day and could not have had a better time! The appetizers were DELISH -- be sure to get the cauliflower appetizer- I didn't know cauliflower could taste that good!! The drinks were good and prices were reasonable. In my opinion, the entrees were a little lackluster becuase they had been so outshined by the apps.

Tried a couple of their cocktails. Outstanding.Tried a couple of their appetizers. Outstanding.Tried their Egg Frittata. Juicy.Go there.

Great place for brunch. The items here are similar to the previous locations. I really enjoyed the patatas bravas, burrata, radicchio salad, and the Tasty steak and eggs. The staff here are wonderful and quick to get you anything you need.

Pretty good brunch spot. Menu changes so be sure to check before you go if you had your eye on something like I did to only learn it wasn't on the menu anymore. That was a bummer. Also would be nice if they had an actual kids menu, help the families out that want to enjoy the food. Lost a star because the flat top was out of order and my daughter really wanted the french toast.

I had fond memories of Tasty on Alder in Portland, they served some of the best steak dishes in the city - actually in my top 5 of all time(!). So I was excited to try the Lake Oswego location. We made our our order, waitress asked if we wanted our salad and cornbread first, before the fish and steak. The fish, arrived with the salad, then the cornbread about 10 minutes later. Steak arrived more than 20 minutes after the fish. When we asked about this, we were told that everything is served 'family style'. This is not mentioned anywhere in the menu or website. Even if they were served family style, there is still a skill and order in which things are served and coordinated between the waitstaff and kitchen to keep the food coming without loooong gaps. It was obvious that things were served according to cooking time with no thought or planning by the kitchen and waitstaff. The menu isn't even tapas style so the whole family style thing is a cop out, especially when only 2 are dining, imo. The manager comped' the steak and desert which was nice (I added the cost back to the tip), but that really doesn't make up for the lack of competent staff. All the food was good for the cost, but the steak was requested medium well and wasn't. It was also covered in a syrupy gravy that seemed straight out of a Sysco truck. I asked for a bottled cola from the menu, but was served tap soda from the kitchen - (I wasn't charged for the bottle cost). I don't have high hopes of the Lake Oswego location, it seems all the restaurants rely on non-career waitstaff that are there for the paycheck.

Overall, a good experience for dinner. I found the menu limited, and only a few things piqued my interest. We ordered the hush puppies, and broccolini to share. My wife ordered the salmon, and I got the octopus main dishes. I think the execution was a mixed bag. Interesting flavors going on, but still a little strange. They also mentioned that they do "family style" dinner, which means to them that food just comes out when it's ready sporadically, not at the same time, rather than portions that are meant to be shared as a family. Strange. Not surprisingly my wife's salmon came out much sooner than my octopus and she was about done eating when I got mine. Not a huge deal, but weird to me. Mostly, I'd say the food was fine. It was pretty expensive for what you received.

This is a very special place. We walked in without reservation and managed to get seats at the bar. (Proof of vaccination required). Bar man was knowledgeable and very helpful we sampled drinks and was even offered a complementary tasting with our dessert. Food was great, we were warned it would arrive when it was ready and not in any set order. All in all a very good experience and while the prices are on the higher side we enjoyed it immensely.
