For what it is worth, as someone who lived my younger years in southern CA, and someone who is Latino, this place is legit. This is far and away a HUGE improvement over Senor Taco. Not to mention the service and ownership make me feel welcomed, every time.There was a comment about price hikes, but to be honest anywhere in Portland $12 for an entrée is reasonable, fair, and you get what you pay for. If you prefer a $6 item from a chain, you just won't be happy with the level of ingredients this restaurant chooses to use. These folks use beautiful, vibrant vegetables. Absolutely amazing.I'd love to call out that this place is also Vegan and Vegetarian, friendly. The vegan burrito, or the vegetarian burrito, are amazing even if you are a meat eater.
Love love love them and their food. They even stayed open 10min late for me once when I was on my way back from dropping someone at the airport and starving when I called at 7:58 for take out. Carnitas are the bomb. Burritos are good, chips are homemade, I could eat here every day
Asada Burrito was incredible, loved the avocado salsa! I travel all over Oregon and Washington for work and this place rocks! I'm so impressed with the food here that this is my new go to place to eat in Lake Oswego, OR! The food was so fresh and delicious I can't stop thinking about going back sometime soon for more! Highly recommend if you want awesome home cooked Mexican food this is the place!
The owner is very nice, not judgmental at all. She is also cool and relaxed. I ordered food for me and my friend. It was a reasonable price for two people. We loved our food but we would just prefer refried beans instead of whole beans & cheddar cheese instead of white cheese. But besides that we liked our food & the rice is really good
Amending my 5 star review. Initially this place was a welcome replacement to the local favorite Senior Taco. Their food is much better all be it more expensive, but still reasonable enough to be a regular lunch spot. However, after a recent 25% price hike I think they have priced themselves out of the lunch game. I get it, supply chain issues, cost of labor, inflation, etc. every business needs to raise prices to survive but a 13 dollar take out burrito is a bit much even for Lake Oswego.

Ground Beef Nacho here is excellent. It's better than the original Senor Taco version.I give 4 stars because the steak version was not good (too much fat in the meat).Their taco is great too, just a little bit pricey.
Great, authentic taco's and guacamole! It's the real deal for a true taste of Mexico!
This place is much better than the Mexican restuarant that was there before. They have delicious food served piping hot, very friendly staff, and the prices can't be beat. Highly recommend!
love their fish tacos here! I wanted to post a pic but each time I get them, they are gone so fast that I think of photos only after they are inside my stomach! Such visually stunning fish tacos too, only to become a memory in about five minutes literally! My husband also complimented on them when I brought them home today! We were both transported to Hawaii instantly, enjoying our fish tacos with our home made fruit smoothie! Life is so good, thank you so much Taqueria La Marquesa!!
