Have been going to various Ava's locations off and on for years now. Food and coffee are usually on point and enjoy the atmosphere. I like this location for its setup and nice view to the fountain outside. The employees are kind and make sure to take care of you. They don't mind a bit of small talk. Appreciate their latte art ?.Great job and thank you! ??
Wish this place could be 24 Hours again. Coffee is pretty good, it just depends on who's making it. I love the pastries and sandwiches ?
Located in Lake Oswego, without the snobby attitude. There is adequate seating with enough distance that you don't feel like you're sitting in on someone else's conversation.Sandwiches for breakfast and lunch are available with an assortment of beverages.
Disappointing, looking at the pictures of coffee I was thinking I would get a hot well crafted latte with foam. What I recieved was cold cup of saddness.
Everything is mediocre. The bagel had those hard spots you get when you microwave a frozen bagel. The dark chocolate mocha tasted like it had that Hershey's dark chocolate syrup in it. Can't we get mochas made with decent chocolate without driving to Ken's Artisan Bakery? The cream cheese and peach danish was overly sweet, and made with canned peaches. I tried three things here, and can't recommend even one of them.
Been coming here for years and I just love doing some of my best focus work here with their top-notch coffee or tea. Food options for dietary restrictions as well!
2/4/22 Update:Walked over to Ava’s today with my dog for a mid day break, and the first thing I noticed is that they have now put up tents over their outdoor seating so that it is covered and you can stay dry, even if it is raining. Nice touch guys! I really like this new feature as I’m not personal eating indoors anywhere yet at this point, so I normally can only come hang out at your coffee shop in the summertime. So very well done.I went inside and got a breve latte (pretty much my go to drink when I can’t decide what I want) which I must admit was ready much faster than usual, and then I just sat outside with my dog and relaxed for about a half hour. It was definitely chilly (heaters anyone?), but at least I didn’t have to worry about getting rained on.—This may not be the quickest place to get a cup of coffee, but fast doesn’t always equal great. And over the last few years, it has definitely become one of my haunts, especially in the summer since there is a ton of outdoor seating and it is walking distance from my house. I love taking my dog for a walk, then stopping in for an iced breve latte, and sitting out on their patio with a good book for a break in the middle of my work day. It’s one of my guilty pleasures.
When the day is grey and rainy you can meet a temp worker here that will make it happy and bright for you.
This is a favorite coffee, lunch, relaxation/reading spot of mine. I has the best outdoor patio when the weather is nice.
Really great service and space. It's a great space to come and work, the hours are really appreciated in this time. One of very few places open past 3. The coffee is good, but not great, but that's coming from someone with unnecessarily high coffee standards. All in all I love to frequent this place because of its convenient location and welcoming space.
