I went to eat here for the first time on a whim and I loved it. We got there early so the service was fast. My lady and I got a Lake of the Woods Omelet /w a Pepsi. I ordered mine with home fries and she got hash browns. It was so good! The quality was top notch so now we have to come back. Beautiful view of the lake from the restaurant and impressive patio setup too!

I grew up camping on this Lake. My mom and her sisters were girl scouts and went to the girl scout camp here as young girls. This spring fed lake stays full all year long, unlike so many others in our region. The resort has a great marina, store and restaurant. We rented a pontoon boat and had a great time fishing on the lake and swimming off the luxurious boat. This is one of my all time favorite day use and camping areas.

Rented a pontoon boat, prices are reasonable at $150 for 4 hours. You pay the fuel expenses so it’s good for those who drive less. Worms were good quality at the tackle shop and man was helpful in picking out other baits. Lake had tons of fish but is not the biggest lake in the world

Beautiful place, but very crowded. They usually have live music on the weekends. The food isn't that good. Meat ran from you. It was so under cooked. The sides are rather bland. That's the outdoor BBQ. The restaurant food isn't that good either.Service: 3/5

You don't have to stay at the resort to use amenities like the general store or the swim area. We came for day use and parked at the marina, it was $8 to park. Able to rent paddle boards, kayaks, peddle boats and even pontoons! We liked the swim area, I won't call it a beach because it's very rocky I would recommend water shoes. There is a little floating dock to jump off and plenty of seating in Adirondack chairs that we weren't even anticipating. Loved all the chairs along the shore. Great place to swim!

Came here as a baby. Possibly my first memories. My dad took me out on a boat, the water was so clear I could see 20' down to the bottom. This terrified baby me but delights adult me to see the water is still crystal clear 50 years later.Love Lake of The Woods and this resort. So happy to see people are putting love and thought into keeping it going. These last few years have made me so grateful places like this (and the people who actually work), still exist!

This is a great place to go to just get away for the day. Their parking fee has gone up along with their food prices. I can understand the food prices going up but to park a car. Goodness.

We spent 3 nights here in our RV. It is a beautiful setting, and in late May/early June was very quiet. Beautiful mountain lake, great hiking and biking, wonderful restaurant and friendly, helpful staff. We've already booked our return visits.

My brother came out west to visit us after a 20 yr. hiatus. We rented cabin # 12 for 3 nights. He had never seen (in person) the Oregon Cascades. I have to admit Lake of the Woods is beautiful. I have been in S. Oregon for 17 years, and have spent much $ and time there. I have very fond memories there. The water is crystal clear, abundant variety of fish, and the scenery is off the chart. I also like the fact that it is a natural lake and can be used all year long. 5 stars on these attributes. Now the bad. the 4 PM check in is wrong, and much too late. If a person has to vacate at 11:00 AM and checks in at 4 PM he loses 5 hrs. of the day. The internet service is very weenie. At cabin 12 we could not use the grill (70's era) was bent and broken to the point it was unusable. The TV is the smallest made I think, about a 14" it looks like. The red headed young lady at the registration desk at the store is short with folks, and not very friendly. The manager of the marina charged me $30.00 cancelation fee on a boat slip we rented for three days, and never used it. As a matter of a fact my boat broke down 30 min. later and we reloaded it on the trailer, and never used it. Really? I had to find one of the owners to get him to OK the $30.00 back on the Discover card. I still haven't had that put back on it yet! This is a small area in S. Oregon. There are few places where folks can escape the valley heat. Too bad hard working people have to deal with that on vacation. On a positive note Emily, the room cleaner (cabin) is very friendly, and helpful.

We had Cabin 8. We had to move the side of the Queen Bed away from wall so Wife could get into bed. When we did this, we found dust and dirt under where the bed had been! Sad! Resort Resturant: Ordered vegan Burger. It came with bacon on it! Very Sad!
