Out of the Chinese restaurants we've eaten at. This one is one I'll come back to. They were quick, Friendly, and clean. And the food was great. And with every Chinese restaurant there's almost always plenty to take home. Even after reheating it was still pretty decent. The place was fairly busy. But there was no wait. Our host promptly greeted us and took us to our table. The menu was fairly pricey. But everything is anymore. But still worth it.
We have enjoyed eating at King Wah for years. Everything we have ordered is good and we ate there frequently, including ordering take out during the Covid restrictions. But, we took some out of town family to eat there a few days ago. King Wah has their closing time posted as 9:30. Our large group arrived by 8:30. Because the out of town guests hadn't been there before we took a little while longer to decide on what to order. The food arrived quickly a little after 9. At 9:30 the waitress came and told us they were locking the doors but to finish eating and enjoy. A few minutes later, she came with to go containers wanting to box up the leftovers. About 15 minutes after that around 9:45 the owner came in and basically told us they were closed and we needed to be done so the dishwashers could do their job. I hadn't finished eating and neither had a couple others but I just took a few more quick bites and we left. We were extremely embarrassed.This was the 2nd time recently that the owner has asked us to leave because they were closed. I have never had a restaurant hurry us before we were finished eating and basically kick us out. Neither had our out of town guests. If they want to make sure customers are done and out at a certain time, then they need to post the kitchen closes to new orders about an hour at least before they expect everyone out.It will be a long time before and if we ever go back.
I liked the service but everything else was pretty underwhelming and sub par. Granted, a TON of food for the price point but tanked miserably on flavor which makes the meal. The amount of food you get after that point is really moot. Beef Broccoli was super bland and tasteless. The flavor of the House Lo Mein was just....hideous. I have no idea what the cook's thought process was on that dish. A concoction of weird and sweet which should have been just a savory flavor. I don't know. Just unimpressed, especially, after paying $40 for it. 2.5 stars for me.
Delicious general chicken! My wife got the orange tofu and she loved it too.Very large portion sizes. The waitress "warned" me about how large portions were after requesting extra chicken but I chose to do it anyway... I had many leftovers. Fantastic!! The food stays perpetually hot through the entire meal. I don't know how they do it but I was amazed! Great portion sizes. I had the Beef Chop Suey and it was great, but the cheeseburger was quite good as well. Staff was very professional, friendly and courteous. 10/10 will be back.
The food is good, but inconsistent. They always say 20 minutes for pick up, but it's never ready. Give them 45... Though they have turned me away saying my food wasn't ready at 50 mins, then 10 minutes later I was given old food.THAT SAID, best fried tofu I've had. General Tso's tofu is bomb (but also $15).
Use to be the best place to have Chinese takeout. Today they completely ruined it. Gave us the wrong food order completely and charged us to much. Couldn't even figure out the actual order and how to refund my money. No one apologized and or offered a discount. Then wanted the other people to take the food that was given to me wrong. Had to ask 4 times for my missing items and still took them forever. Also charged fees for something that has never been a thing in the whole time I've ever gone to this restaurant. I will be giving the other Chinese restaurant my money for now on because after today I'm afraid it won't get no better considering the ladies up front were all confused and yelling names of others to get their attention all while people are trying to enjoy their dinner. Just down right ridiculous. Wonder if the owner knows how these people act when she isn't there!!
Come all the way from Texas to eat here with my mom. This is the 2nd time I've eaten here and the food and service was, once again, out-freaking-standing!Hěn hào chī
We appreciated the plates were fresh and hot. Every dish was real good and authentic. Service was friendly and timely. We've eaten there several times since our 1st visit and it has always been consistently yum!!
Love this place, Jenny the owner is the best she's so nice and I just call her and tell her my name and for how many people eating and she knows exactly what foods we love and it's perfect everytime. Love ya Jenny your amazing ?
