Our 2nd Black Bear Diner on this road trip (Mt. Shasta was 1st) and it was awesome! Service was on par, food was perfect, and the atmosphere is right on! Thank you all!
I've eaten here plenty of times now and have been happy with the service, and the food. It is cozy and the interior is cute. The have booths and tables to sit at and a big variety of traditional American meals and foods. They have a friendly and attentive staff.A nice extra is their little bear themed mini store when you come in.
Great food as always. Met up with family, pleasant experience ☺️
We came here as a last minute decision. And we did not regret it. The food was great, the service was fast, the staff was amazing with much the right amount of small take and checking with out being to much. The only thing I can think of as being a draw back but not enough that I would never come back is the menu. If you have never been here the menu can be somewhat of a sensory overload. But if you ask the staff that will happily help you or even accommodate you somehow.
Service was very slow. Waiter got my order wrong. When I said something He ran back to his manager and said I called him the N word. Ive never used the N word in my life. Needless to say we walked out.
Great food and service. Couldn't be happier. Very reasonable prices for the food. Seems to be a very popular place with locals. We had breakfast and it was excellent.
They have several restaurants in Oregon and they never fail to provide good food. They are consistent with their quality. Don’t forget to try my fave: french toast bear claw with hot link and bacon. Yum! Ultimate breakfast for a hungry bear☺️
Don't let the long lines fool you! Told our wait was 15-20, we waited maybe 10 minutes. Great and efficient service. KUDOS TO THE COOK. Had our food in less time than our initial wait and it was perfectly executed. My 16 yr old bacon expert say the bacon was chewy and soft but crispy at the same time!
We had visited a BBD in another town for dinner and we're not impressed. Just had breakfast at the one in K Falls and it was off the charts good.
I ordered a Taco Salad. Not worth $12.99 .! First, they put the canned refried beans UNDER the gigantic crispy taco shell. How can you enjoy the taste of something you can't find? Next, there is a slight sprinkle of finely grated cheese. While the menu says cheddar and jack cheese, there is obviously only One type of cheese, The menu also states Avocado. None on the salad. The amount of chicken was equal to one chicken finger. Also, no cilantro. Don't order this salad unless you want a huge bowl of lettuce. While one of the people at our table wanted mustard, he was given a few small packets of mustard and was told due to Covid restrictions this was the way condiments needed to be served yet there was a full bottle of Ketchup and several bottles of sauce along with salt and pepper shakers on the table. The only good parts of my visit to the Black Bear diner was the people I was with along with the excellent service from our waitress,
