Tucked in a strip mall in the middle of Hillsboro, you might not expect much from this restaurant. Or maybe, like me, you know that some of the best dining experiences can be found in the most unassuming places. This is one of those places. The food was AMAAAAZZZING! The service was also AMAAAAZZZING! If you haven't gone here you should. I'm not an expert in Korean food, but it felt very authentic. The server was soo friendly and made sure our experience was a good one. I can't wait to go back.
What a gem. Having been to Korea many times, this place reminded me of the great flavors to be had whole there. The owners have created such a wonderful menu with tons of variety. We drove from Vancouver because the reviews were so great and it did not disappoint. We were greeted and seated by the owner and she was most helpful when it came to menu selections. We opted for tofu soup and crispy beef lettuce wraps. Flavors were off the charts and their homemade chili sauce is the best. We even bought some of it to go! Really looking forward to trying the entire menu! Yes, it's that good!
Oh my goodness! I need to give this restaurant 5 stars ? this is the best Korean restaurant we have try so far. Family owned and the cook is her mom. One of the things that make this place special is the server very sweet, kinda and friendly ? you gonna need to try this place.
This place is so delicious! My husband and I are visiting from Utah and are so glad we went out of our way to try this place. The owner was so sweet, the service was shockingly fast, and the food was SO good. You should definitely try the spicy stir fried squid!!
Truly one of the best Korean restaurants in the metro area. Fantastic!
I ordered takeout tonight and it was fabulous! The woman who took our order was very helpful and we enjoyed the food immensely. We will definitely be going back! The bibimbop was amazing. My daughter loved the mandu and seafood pancake. Thanks for the great experience!
A small mom and pop style place that serves some authentic Korean dishes. We had the yukgaejang and the bas sak bulgogi. This was the first time that I had this type of bulgogi. It was almost like a meat pancake of bulgogi that came with a side of lettuce and dipping sauce. The yukgaejang was also pretty tasty. The service was super friendly and they even have signs to let you know that it's a bit slow with the staffing shortage.
We just Discovered this new Korean resturant and are so pleased with their food, service, sanitation and all.I would say that it is the best Korean restaurant in Oregon as far as the taste and cleanliness concerned. We are from NYC and their food is way better than NY Korean food for sure!! Do try it! We are definitely going back this weekend ?
We accidentally stumbled on to this wonderful restaurant on Christmas Eve. We’re new to the area and a lot of places were closed but this lovely family-run Korean restaurant was open, bustling and serving some of the tastiest food any of us have had. All of our dishes were top notch and the handmade mandu were so good that we will have to drive back to Hillsboro for more. I’m so happy we found this place!
The best, most authentic Korean food in the Portland area! The strip mall vibe and decor may be unassuming and it takes awhile to get to from Portland but the food is truly amazing. Lovingly and authentically prepared by a mother-daughter duo. Food prepared the way Korean ummas would when you’re visiting from far away or home from school. I can’t wait to head back there!
