We came to Swad after a beach trip on the way back to Portland. wow!!!! Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The samosa street food was a new dish to me & was absolutely delicious. Their chicken, served in many variations, was so incredibly moist and flavorful. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. It felt like we were welcomed into a home to enjoy special food & be treated like honored guests. The Bollywood music videos were also super fun! Worth the drive from the city!

The food here was excellent. Clean restaurant. Nice ambiance. Walls had all bollywood dialogues frames. Food tasted amazing. The spices, quantity everything was perfect. Masala papad was yum (a bit tangy, spicy). Overall nice experience. Serving lady was super nice. Not from Hillsboro but would love to eat here whenever in Hillsboro.Cheers!

Great, new Indian restaurant in little town of ours! Fresh food and an amazing host. Enjoyed the mutton thali and the Chinese thali.

We consider ourselves, humbly(??), connoisseurs of Indian food. This place is fabulous!!! One can always tell when the curries contain spices that are plentiful and, most importantly, fresh. That clearly is the case for the two dishes we shared here. While the location is not that convenient for us, we expect to return often!!

The word is out. Swad, A Taste of India , is elegantly and lovingly prepared and served authentic cuisine! Amazing flavors! Loved the Kabobs, Chicken Saag, Fish Pakoras, Garlic Naan, and the buffet today had a wide variety of delicious dishes: egg plant, cauliflower, two chicken offerings one was an appetizer and lamb! Love all the spices and choices!

The food was excellent and even though short staffed the service was very good. She made excellent recommendations and was very helpful. We had the chicken thali dinner, chicken kabob, and garlic Naan ?. We will definitely be eating here again!

Came here for a casual dinner work some friends. This place has better appetizers than main course /entrée. We ordered :\\n\\nAppetizers\\n1. Masala sev puri\\n2. Achari chicken kabab\\n3. Dahi puri\\n\\nMain course\\n4. Madras chicken curry\\n5. Chicken curry\\n6. Veg biryani\\n\\nThe masala puris were the best, dahi puri was bit on sweeter end, achari chicken was juicy and soft but bit had more turmeric dominant taste.\\n\\nThe curries and biryani were mostly average. Would rate 3-4, only giving 4 because we liked the appetizers. I've included the menu too.

Taste -Awesome ?\\nAmbiance- Good ?\\nPrice-Higher than other restaurants but worth it?\\nHygiene ?\\nQuantity ?\\n\\nI tried Amritsari kulcha and hara bhara kabab here which is new in town.\\nMenu is nice some new items to try.\\nMust try Panjabi food in town

Absolutely amazing dinner. The whole staff and especially hostess was super friendly and even gave me some suggestions to try just based on the flavors I told her I like (and nailed it, the kabob is probably a new favorite) , and when I asked for my vindaloo to be extra hot, they did not hold back ?. From my experience its nothing but top quality when it comes to their food. I'm definitely going to be back to try something else.\\n\\nChicken malay Kabob/ Chicken Vindaloo/ Garlic Naan.

I had mix of experience.I had la-jawab… Malai Kofta and Butter Naan… really like authentic Indian cuisine….tasteBut Veg Manchurin - not even fully fried…gravy was good but Manchurin was not good.
