Ordered the Tampico and the chicken tortilla soup with a side of guacamole (medium for 6.99).The Tampico and guacamole tasted good. The chicken tortilla soup was bland with undercooked potato. The amount of food was good except the side of guacamole was smaller than I was expecting for the price.The staff were friendly and helpful.I probably won't go back, but I can see why so many people like it.
So happy they are back open and they haven’t changed! We went on the first Friday they reopened, they were slammed! Line out the door and a huge party of 15 inside. They allowed us to call in and get on the wait list, once seated, service was fast and pleasant. Their fantastic & huge margaritas came out quick with the food shortly behind it. The shredded beef flauntas are amazing and salsas are great too! Best Mexican food in Hillsboro!
Good food. Well maintained. Tampico gives you variety in one plate. Do try Tampico. They even sanitize their menu book. I was waiting to visit this place since people talked about this restaurant on facebook group.Ordered: Tampico (Chicken only), Camarones al Mojo de Ajo, Chicken tacos, Fish taco.
Congratulatioms! To Poblo and Brandi's Re-Grand Opening of their Mexican Restaurant, Peppers, in Hillsboro!! I have been enjoying the food here for nearly 17-years and it is still my absolute favorite Mexican Restaurant. Due to my travels I have eaten at practically every Mexican Restaurant from Gresham, Camas to Hillsboro, and without a dought, this place is my absolute favorite. Don't get me wrong there are other places that I enjoy, but the Shrimp Taco and Top Shelf Margarita here are super and to die for!! Tell them Eric sent you!
The best Mexican food in Oregon. However the front door says they are temporarily closed.I sure hope they open back up, and its not the fault of our awful local and national government wrongfully shutting businesses down.
I absolutely live this place, there is a patio w heaters and piazza lights outside for ambiance. They make the best Cadillac margarita around.Not to mention the waiters are cheerful funny and fast . They are not put out when you ask for napkins n more tortilla chips n salsa.Lastly, the food is to die for. I live the chile relleno burrito and the chicken flautas. Everything is scrumptious but those are my favorites on the menu.
