Very nice place for a meal and a drink. The server was attentive without being intrusive. The wedge salad had a great blessing cheese dressing. Paired with the crab cakes appetizer, I had the perfect sized meal. Prices were reasonable. Service was great. Convenient location in Hillsboro to hotels and shopping. I would eat there again.
This was my first time trying Orenco Station, we started off with the steak bites appetizer that came with a port wine reduction, which was pretty good, tender and tasty. For dinner we had the shrimp risotto and the lamb chops...the lamb chops were a bit on the cold side and under seasoned the risotto was slightly underdone for my personal preference overall it was....ehh...ok. I was expecting better based on the reviews and the cost of the food.
Celebrated 53rd wedding anniversary, eating there for the very first time. We both had filet mignon, & it was the most delicious steak we’ve had in a long time. Service was excellent, & we will definitely go back. Wish they would serve a few slices of bread & butter, but we were full when we left. Nice time!
Very average, but maybe it was because we ordered to-go. Total of $100+ for four people and it was overall unsatisfactory. Grilled salmon was a bit dry, pasta was very average, barely above Olive Garden. The only highlight of the meal was the braised beef. Very filling and very tender. Salad was extremely under-dressed.Overall the price did not match up with the enjoyment of the meal. Maybe it is a different experience dine in but I would not recommend ordering to go.
the dishes are always fresh and local. Grilled rather than fried excellent cocktails and friendly staff.
Great cocktails great food
The place was nice and enjoyable. The lamb was medium rare like I ask for and perfectly seasoned. I got butter rum for the first time and it was great. Also their cheesecake was very rich and I do recommend that. The only minor complaint I have is with the lamb, there wasn't much meat on it. I know that's kinda to be expected with lamb sometimes, I'm just slightly disappointed I didn't get to have a bigger cut to enjoy. Not enough of an issue to dock a star in my opinion. Things can happen and they might not have had bigger cuts which I get. I'm happy they had lamb at all! So if you wanna risk it incase my dish was a fluke go for it. The taste was still pretty good.
My husband and I were blown away! We had been here once, years ago….When we walked in, the atmosphere was amazing; and we wondered if they’d made some changes. Eventually spoke with Nena, and discovered we were right! Kudos to the upgrades the new owners have made all the way around!! We started with cocktails—they were amazing! Ordered from the Happy Hour menu: Caesar Salad; Steak Bites; Steak Street Tacos; Nachos W/ Chili Con Carne; and finished with the Key Lime Pie! We were WOWed by the Yumminess of ALL of it! Everything was First Class; and we are encouraged that this just might become a new neighborhood haunt for us! They state their priority for the business is high Quality and Service; and they certainly deliver! We’ll be seeing them soon!!! PS Rumor has it they might be planning something special for Valentines Day—give them a call!
They suggested a great combination that I loved. A wedge salad with a side of sliced steak. I HIGHLY recommend it. Delicious.
The food was delicious. Our drink orders took a very long time the person who brought to us said they didn't realize we had ordered them. I ordered a Grey Goose dirty martini and it was made without adding the olive juice to make it dirty. Our server was quick to solve the problem. We had reservations but we're seated back in a corner next to the door to the kitchen, this is my least favorite place to sit in a restaurant. Our server was very pleasant.
