I loved the place and the great atmosphere. I went there for live music(came up in a search). They do not, apparently they have not since the beginning of COVID and they do not have a plan for live music to return.They do have games and a great attitude;
Food and beer are always on point at McMs...those who regularly patron them know that we also seek the full, immersive experience. Rock Creek Tavern did not disappoint. Cozy, eclectic, spacious, and friendly staff, we definitely enjoyed our first experience here. And thanks to the McMs Passport for luring us here, as we normally wouldn't venture this way, but so glad we did! Cheers! ?☺️
Ate the sliders and regular fries. Overall it was fair. The fries were my biggest issue. No salt, like warm and not crispy. Their Mystic 18 sauce was different. Its like a secret sauce but mustard based. Our waiter was awesome. I suspect it was his first day. He was great. He was trying so hard and was doing well. The door greeter on the other hand, greeted us with a what's up with no follow-up or welcome. I loved the vibe though. It was dark and cozy.
The energy and style are wonderful. My best friend had an Elk burger while I had the Baja bowl. The beans were very dry, but the rest was good.
Absolutely the best place in the world. From live music to shuffle board amazing food and even better staff! They make you feel at home in peace away from all the hustle and bustle of the world. Now if you all start going and make it impossible for me to go I’m going to get pissed!? For me it is a must when I’m in town!
Beautiful setting and surroundings, competent service. No questions about the food, it is decent and free of noticeable defects. We go to this one frequently, as Imbrie Hall is usually slammed when we decide on McM. I am a decent judge of beers, and I find them to be inoffensive at worst, and innovative at best. I will usually have a beer here, the food goes well with it. If they built yurts or sturdy tents or small cabins behind the restaurant, I'd like to live in one.
YES! My fav of all the McMenamins! Food is good, happy hour rocks and the place is so cool to hang out!
We ordered a few items from the Happy hour menu.Turkey SlidersPretzels w/cheeseSaladCup of chiliAnd a burger.It was so dark I had to pull out my phone to see the menu. Was to make a Kady feel old, LOL.
Great service. no issues at all. love the ambiance and the food & drinks were perfect. Great place to gather with friends & family.
Crowed but hostess was right on it. Love the atmosphere and the old fashioned with Hogs Head. Best drink for a cool day.
