This little gem is definitely worth checking out! It has the classic McMenamins aesthetics ie eclectic, vintage, and whimsical. The restaurant is huge and heated with a couple of giant wood stoves so it has that delicious smokey oaky smell. Good menu variety, a couple vegan options. Cute property to talk around with beautiful natural landscaping. They have a separate shed (bar) where you can get drinks and cigars to smoke outside by the fire pit. Huge parking lot with lots of cameras. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

I've only been taking here as a guest, a few times. The service is okay. The beer is good. They don't have very many fancy elaborate dishes. Seems like mostly deep fried food like bar style entrees. They got cheeseburgers that look pretty decent. The outdoor seating and the fireplaces are all pretty cool.

loved this place !! ambiance is amazing !

Great setting and dining for catching up with a Portland State University grad school classmate!! The food was hot and deilicious

Eight of us had dinner there last Friday night and really enjoyed it. Lovely grounds -- love the outdoor firepit area ("cigar area"). Restaurant was large and roomy. Food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. Was visiting on vacation, so won't return any time real soon, but a good choice if you're in the area.

Love! Love! Love! Great atmosphere! Great good! Love me some Ruby!! ?

Delicious food, great service, wonderful historic setting!

Beautiful setting! The sweet potato salad was very disappointing. Since I knew it has very few pieces of sweet potato I ordered extra. All the extra was hard and uncooked. Staff didn’t care.

I can never get enough of this chain of restaurants. They simply do a wonderful job. Everything is well planned and catered, the servers and bartenders never disappoint, and the patronage is a good mixed crowd. They're always busy but manage to work like a well oiled machine and get everyone taken care of. I really like this one in particular because it's such a huge campus for a bar and you can contact management for all sorts of planned events

We stopped in by pure accident. This place is beautiful! The history is amazing. Also, we had a really great lunch. Our server Lacie was warm and accommodating. She had great suggestions about the menu, and helped me out about my ridiculous cinnamon allergy. It's a little off the beaten path, but we'll worth a detour.
