(This review is only regarding their brunch.) Not recommended for dining in for brunch. We got french toasts and a hash dish. It tasted fine but too many other details were lacking to make up for the overall quality-to-price ratio. Coffee is very low quality (and they are located RIGHT next to a great roastery!!!) The booth seats were dirty with dusts and even spider webs in the corners... Little bugs near windows (perhaps just avoid seats near window.) Sad looking house-made biscuits. So yeah it's a mixed review - main dishes have little to complain about, but we won't return due to other important details not quite meeting standards compared to other local brunch options. Waiter service was great btw.
Tasty. Nice outdoor seating. Nice staff. Clean bathrooms. Very chill late lunch spot.
Wow, a whole package experience. Great food (grilled mushroom/onions special), fresh iced tea, attentive service, and a fun outdoor seating area. I can't wait to come back and try the bourbon barrel aged porter I spied on the drink menu!
First time here and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The beer is really good and the fish and chips were perfectly cooked and tasted very good..
good enough beer! I normally don't go to eating/drink combo places for beer, preferring a taphouse type environment. But Mazama is fine for a quick stop in. Only had beer at the bar and the large overgrown pretzel which was good. Ok environment, though more a restaurant setup. No music playing or anything. and limited outside seating and then, later in the day the seating is shaded by the building - no soaking up sun rays on a nice day (some may prefer that).
I loved everything about this place! I will recommend this place to all my Houston friends and Family! It’s very laid back and family oriented. We had the Fish and Chips, Fried Brussel Sprouts, and BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich…. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!
Went for brunch and had the best time! Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. My toddler peacefully slept in his stroller the whole time, the bathroom had a changing table & diapers & wipes! Highly recommend!
Good beer, nice tidy place, great staff.Food was good, not necessarily great. Fish tacos were good but not south of the border authentic. That being said, I have yet to see anyone make a proper Baja taco this side of the border.Fried dishes were a little greasy, chance you take with fried food.If you order the pretzel, be aware, it is big!
They don’t serve their full menu until 2. It is only a brunch menu before 2. The burger was nothing special, but the fries were delicious. Unfortunately they did let a lady with a big hairy dog sit inside. Service is also severely lacking, we received water with our food, but no refills and no one came to check on us the entire time (you order at the host desk). It is a quiet spot though if you want to meet a friend or family for a fairly quick bite. Just wished service was better.
Such a wonderful place! The bratwurst and beer was delicious
