The employee barely spoke english. The shrimp was tough & dried out. The crust of the fish was gummy & stuck to the paper. Everything was pretty gross.
Doesn't have the grilled salmon or shrimp - which was sad, but the fact the hush puppies were undercooked and greasy made sure I wasn't going to return.
From keizer to Hillsboro is a 50 min drive and I would gladly make that drive for this. Love their chicken and fries. Nothing like long John silvers.
Closed early I guess as lobby was closed and when I went through drive thru in past they would say it's not open when lobby was closed hours were til 10
Please don't ever go away. Being from the south, I love being able to get hushpuppies. I was disappointed that we didn't get all the crunchies that used to come with the meals though.
They gave me a random bag of food and didn't realize it until I got home. I was the only customer at the time, so I have no idea how my order was mixed up. So frustrating.
It's so hard to find Long John Silver's anymore so I was so happy to have one in my area. But my dreams were sadly shattered. The food here is actually good, it's the service that so horribly tanks my rating. This place is basically Taco Bell, and they sort of serve fish sometimes.Multiple times I have been in and I will wait and wait for my LJS and watch literally dozens of Taco Bell orders fly past. The crew here is super great at making tacos, but the second you order off the LJS menu they look at you like "Sir this is a Taco Be . . . oh wait nevermind."Want to rare it higher but I shouldn't be ignored just because I like seafood.
Batter is too thick on the fish at this location, making it doughy and heavy instead of crispy and light. Some locations do a much better job of making light and crispy fish.
There aren't many of these left in town. Nice for the occasional hushpuppy hankering if you're out in Hillsboro.
Closed down long Johns but still has sign and on goggle stuck in drive through. You could atleast take down the signs
