The best local food places in north plains and Hillsboro. The food is deliciously good, gives you a proper home made feels. Their shrimp taco is my fav or all. The lunch box comes with rice, beans and 2 tacos of your choice of meat. Highly recommended to try out this place, the ambiance might look a bit old, but I bet the taste of the food never disappoints. Easy quick and simple. One of my goto places for some quick bites.
I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews.. To bad that was not the case.. The fast food service was nothing special. The Prices were reasonable to less then Average. We Placed a to go Order,, that was prepared quickly. We ordered the Echilada plate and a Carne Asada Burrito,, with Horchatas..The Burrito was more beans and Rice then anything else,, Sad.. The enchiladas were bland,, no flavor, no sauce,, not even sure the tortilla was dipped in sauce,, honestly,, this was one of the Saddest enchilada plates I have ever paid for,, out of Hundreds of places all across the western US..I don't even want to give them another try,, with so many better places to go to in the area.So I decided to give it another try,, my review stands.. 40 years of eating Mexi style foods.. I will take my chances at a random food cart next time.
Love this place , they are very kind and friendly and the food is authentic and very good, too much to choose from so so good . It’s the little hole in the wall spot a treasure to find, you will not be disappointed. 😁
I really enjoy going to this place. The tortas are large and delicious. I also like their tacos. They definitely do not skimp on the meat. From the outside it looks a little shabby. But don't get fooled. The food is good. If you order on a busy night like Saturday, be prepared to wait. So call ahead well in advance of any plan to eat. Also they are closed on Sundays.
This place doesn't look inviting from the outside and doesn't look all that great inside but the food is pretty good. It's authentic Mexican food at affordable prices. Lots of choices too. There aren't many dining options in North Plains so this is a better choice than going to McDonald's or Subway in town. And you'll be supporting a small business.

Best Mexican on the west side of portland metro. Highly recommend the king burrito enchilada style.

Our go to Mexican food spot! Burritos are great, tamales are great....well everything is great including their customer service! We don't live close by, but when we are heading home off HWY 26, we stop by and pick up food!
The food is great! The staff is very nice and accommodating. This is our 2nd time here, on the way home back to the Coast. We were happy to find something the whole family liked. And away from the busy malls. Seems like a loved local place. We hit right at the dinner rush. Had to wait, but that was ok. They made veggie Fajitas for me, although not on the menu. And their fries are really good. Kiddos like the nachos and cheese quesodillas.OK. husband enjoyed his Carne Asada burrito. Highly recommend.
