My office has had Jelana's at a few company events and we love it all! The sugar cookies are exactly how I like them - soft and sweet, with an icing that does not overwhelm. The blondies are the best I've ever tasted!Mini cupcakes, monkfish cookies, vegan cookies - I've had the pleasure of tasting so many and there hasn't been any that have disappointed.Jelana is wonderful and we love supporting a local businesswoman.
Jelana, thank you for making me the most amazing gluten free birthday cake I have ever had! It was flavorful with the perfect amount of sweetness (oh my gosh, that swiss buttercream ♥️). The cake was airy and moist... Just like gluten free cake. My days of settling for an overly sweet, dense cake are over! Thank you so much. I can't wait to try all your other gluten free treats.For those of you looking for gluten filled goodies, Jelana does that too! My son had some of her cookies at a team celebration and he said they were so delicious.
5-Star German Chocolate Cake!I recently ordered a German Chocolate cake for one of the doctors in our office. He is very much a dessert connoisseur and said it was the best he’s ever had. I have to agree, this cake was amazing! Jelana’s cinnamon rolls are to die for - still warm when we picked them up. Local bakery with outstanding communication and service. This will most certainly be my go to bakery from now on – I’ve already placed my 2nd order!
The only issues we had were trying to narrow down what flavor combinations we wanted to order for cupcakes (so many great options!), and finding the self control to not eat 3 or 4 cupcakes in a row. WOW. Jelena, your skill with making GF desserts is extraordinary and we look forward to ordering more of your cupcakes in the future. :)

Jelana was great and helped out last minute with my kid’s birthday cupcakes. My kid was adamant that they have dinosaur themed cupcakes and we’re vegan so finding a baker was difficult. Jelana was great to deal with, and provided me with plenty of information on how orders/pickup works. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious—everyone loved them and the filling was heavenly. She’s also very reasonably priced too! Thank you!
I cannot say enough good things about Jelana and Jelana's Bake Shop. To start, the customer service is fabulous. We had some questions about our order and she responded really quickly and gave us options. The website is easy to navigate, order was easy to place, and delivery was also great (proper Covid protocols!).Now, to the desserts!! I've been gluten free for 14 years. Her chocolate chip cookies are hands down the BEST I have *EVER* had. Ever.Those of us with allergies didn't have many options on this side of town, and now, we absolutely do. If you have dietary restrictions/allergies I cannot recommend this bakery enough. Even if you do not, I recommend placing an order. I can safely say you'll be happy.
Had our first cinnamon rolls from Jalena’s today and they were fresh, sweet and a great icing! No dry dough! Great service, curbside pickup. Will definitely go back and try other items on the menu! Thanks, Jalena’s for being in Hillsboro!
