Great food, good atmosphere. Not sure if they are a chain, but we grilled the meat at our table. Everything was fresh, staff was attentive. I would go back again and will!

I think it is under new ownership. We ordered their largest meat platter. It was tasty, but the bonchon was not fresh and seemed lacking in variety. We had to ask for a lot that usually came standard. They also seemed understaffed. For the money, it was not worth it. We will go elsewhere next time. I hope they improve. They used to be very good.

I read up the reviews on this place- and another one mentioned in one of these reviews (AYCE place in SE Portland)We ended up going with this one. The difference was the price- and the fact it’s not all you can eat.. which was fine with us.? THIS PLACE (Gangnam KBBQ) UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT!!Great experience! We got Combo #2 & added a plate of brisket. With combo #2 we got the soup and I added my rice to it. The soup broth was perfect, don’t love tofu usually but the soup made the tofu AWESOME ? also!Us adults had the peach ? soju (SO DELISH!)The lay out of the restaurant is spacious, we sat by the window, any time you need something -they have a buzzer button you can push at each table (with the grill) -we were able to just cook our meats and carry on with this cool experience- without much interruption. We tested out “the buzzer button” as we had two little kids with us and they needed more napkins and silverware -and they did check on us for more water/drinks - and our over all happiness with the food (which was AMAZING)we couldn’t finish what we ordered between 2 adults- so we cooked up the rest of meats and took it home with us (they boxed it for us)Tip: cook all meats asap and then turn grill off so it doesn’t sit and create smoke while not using it. ?at one point my husband and I were in conversation SLACKING on the meat cooking lol ? ?Anyway LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!We will definitely be back!!

Never had a bad meal here. Excellent and friendly staff. Solid menu choices. Very good kimchi fried rice and fried mandu. KBBQ here is also solid. Dining room is a bit on the smaller side and they're normally pretty busy so bare this in mind if you're coming with a larger party during peak operating hours. Good location and normally ample parking.Edit - all the recent bad reviews are surprising to me. To each his/her own.

I ordered pick up by Uber eats. It's 21$ without tips for a pork Bibimbap. When I came to take the food, I found there were lots of empty tables. I asked if I could have the food in the restaurant. The guy at the front refused, and his demeanour was quite rude. I was glad to leave...took my food to the car.Opening up the food, I found that there was no meat. Reluctantly went back in. The dude refused to believe this was the case. He opened the food up and thumbed it, checking for meat. Finally he went back to the kitchen and put some meat on the thing. Came back, refused to give me extra napkins.Returned to the car. I had ordered spicy pork, the meat looked like beef. Anyway gulped down whatever had been packed. Had no energy to go inside and face the host again. Very bad experience, to think I spent 21$ for this lunch.... Just avoid

Went in for their BBQ, meat ordered was two types and both of them were tasty. The spicy beef was truly SPICY . The portion was ok, but I have been to a similar Korean BBQ place and the difference is the buffet style vs for this restaurant like an ala carte pricing which was a bit on the high side. The location offers tons of parking and here are lots of other shops and restaurants nearby.

I really enjoyed this spot. The meat is good quality and the sides are terrific. I am a bbq newbie so the waitress was very kind when offering pro tips. I will be back whenever I am in the neighborhood.

Warning: VERY tasty!!!!! Gotta say first off their bathrooms are very clean. The combo gave some meats that were exquisite. The savory steak slaps harder than an angry female. It did take a while to make the food, but since you cook it, it definitely helps. Very pricy, but worth it for sure (I'd recommend the combos). My advice would be to remember to put the lid on your rice!! Due to the long cooking time after a bit my rice got cold...still tasty though. Rice be rice.

This is one of the tastiest K-BBQ places I've ever visited, and would highly recommend grilling both the bulgogi and the thinly-sliced beef brisket. Pretty pricey, though they surely give you a good amount of meat, especially when you take the sides and rice into consideration. If you want to order an additional side, I think that the udon noodles compliment the beef very nicely. And I would recommend most of all the peach-flavoured Soju liquor. Everything tasted oh-so-wonderful. I wish Gangnam had an "All you can eat" option where you can choose more than just two kinds of meat, like other K-BBQ places have. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was great, as their K-pop playlist was super enjoyable. Service was okay, they didn't seem to check up on my friend and I too often and didn't even provide us with enough tongs at first so I had to get up and ask for more. They gave us the vibe that they were pressuring us to leave. It's a bit out of the way from where I live, but my friend, she lives in Hillsboro. If I visit her again, I'll have to request coming back just because the meats are so darn good.

Great place and great menu options! One order of meat serves 2 and sides are amazing. Must try steamed egg and soju
