No one in there music so Loud could not here what the special or anything else. Are you hard of hearing. (What) never mind.We did the special pork chops with rice and beans ect.Pork chops was so heavy soaked in lime juice. Yuck. Not sure I will go back.Word for the wise hillsboro has so many mexican restaurants.I have ate all of them still can't say who is best. But everyone has different taste buds.So far I have to say hillsboro has only a very few restaurant that are above averageGive this restaurant a c-Is for very loud music and not sure if the menu is any better.

Been there three time so far and I love the food and it's always displayed on the plate like it should be in a magazine. It looks and tasted great. Staff has always been awesome. I do wonder every time I'm there if the chef is the owner or not, because it's always spotless In side and staff is well trained and those dishes come out with serious pride and attention to details, so much so I go back just to look at the chefs plates. He or she obviously love being a cook and it shows! Oh and pricing is very reasonable too.

This restaurant dropped me right in one of my favorite Restaurants in Mexico. The staff is amazing. They are very tentative and fast. The food was amazing. I had Diablo and they made a Mojo for my husband even though it wasn't on the menu. Plates are humorous. I will be back many....many...many many many more times despite them being 45 minutes from us.

First the pros:-Carne asada was tasty-tacos are tasty-They make you feel special on your birthday-The staff are niceThe cons:-a virgin margarita is the same price as a regular margarita and they give you 1 shot on the side for $9-could have been a staffing issue but we had to get up and go hunt down boxes and our tickets-we went as a party of 20 today. They wanted us to pay “half the estimated costs” to reserve an area and then apply that to our tab. Only problem is this was for my birthday and lots of different tabs/families coming. I called them days ago and then again today to give them the heads up because it’s Cinco De Mayo. Turns out they weren’t that busy anyway and it was no big deal but they made us feel a bit unwelcome and like we were somehow inconveniencing them. We never did do 1 giant check. That was silly.-this place is expensive for the quality and service. They’re very nice here but next time I’ll go to a different establishment.-I got charged for an extra margarita we never ordered or received and had to spend 5 minutes explaining why I needed to be refunded before they finally did it. With a large party it was automatically 18% gratuity so $10.60 with tip for one margarita-virgin or not.I think for a casual family dinner maybe they’re okay if your expectations are realistic but for all the good reviews we were definitely expecting better. The common consensus of the 20 of us that went tonight is that we won’t be back.

Easy access from Tenth St with a large parking lot, plenty of seating and a VAST MENU… There’s even sushi ?!Food was good and although the specialty is seafood ? , we tried ? Tacos Al Pastor and Tacos de Lengua and they were very good.According to our waitress pupusas are also popular. These are originally from El Salvador ??, it seems that you’ll find menu items not only from México ?? but from other South American countries as well. Love that! What makes me come back to El Chino is their AMAZING SERVICE and menu variety.#ruizmedina⭐️

Had my and my wife’s card get decline multiple times, even tho there system was still charging her account, had us there over 30 mins and didn’t resolve anything. Owner then told us to go back Monday if the money wasn’t return. Went back Tuesday and they didn’t remember us. Had to show them my bank statements AGAIN. Not once did the owner apologize or even give us a discount for going out of our own time to get back our money back. We are currently still waiting to get our money back. Really un professional, and rude.

Packed and for obvious reasons. Great selections to choose from and under the circumstances good service. A very busy Sunday night. Fish tacos and Horchata was all I tried. Lots of dishes looked amazing! Mariscos!

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the pacific northwest. While their menu is diverse, seafood is what they do best. I wish I could tell you what to order but everything I have ordered was fantastic. Also service is top notch. This is my go to seafood restaurant in oregon.

This was pretty darn good Mexican fare and at a great price with huge portions. I ordered take out and my order was ready on time, I probably was a little late, but all in all they did great!

good food and great service
