Delicious Indian food and the staff was super nice. Loved the quality of the curries and the naan bread was so good too! Oh and they know how to make a curry spicy - it was perfect!I didn’t like their papadums, I would recommend buying a different brand, but other than that the food was delicious.
Love the food here! My husband and I went to this place twice during our two weeks work trip. First time we had Mysore masala and wada sambhar and the other time we had rava Masala. Their sambhar is so so delicious. I would recommend to go for their specialty recommendations noted as CM. Their filter coffee is super delicious too. Like their service also. I would highly recommend this place.
Good food, good ambience, good service. We only tried their south Indian dishes, but they also have a north Indian menu.
Food is good if you only order their specialties menu items otherwise it is below average. Service was VERY BAD, my food came after everyone else at my table finished eating (~ 40 mins later). Server didn't even apologize and just laughed while serving. Interestingly, everyone's food was cold except mine. And mandatory service charge for more than 6 people ?
Very average food for the charge they do..Biryani is costly comparitively and it suffices for one person and it is over loaded with potatoes…We ordered Gobi Manchurian as well which is very salty and it’s surely a pre made food…Food really sucks at this place and hospitality is not good…They dnt respect your reviews…And this 1 star is for raitha…
Especially South Indian food tastes so good. We visited for dinner.- Plain Dosa- Kaaraikudi Dosa- Pongal (just ok)- Mutton Biriyani (just ok)
This is my goto South Indian restaurant in US.For me, the litmus test of a good Chennai based restaurant is Sambar.And, the Sambar here is probably the best I have tried in the US.The Dosa is good. But the vada is too hard sometimes.Chutneys are also good.Can't speak about the biriyani as I haven't tried it yet.
I have travelled throughout west coast and never tasted a food like Chennai Masala. It's so delicious and this place is a food paradise for south indian foodies...

Do not expect the time limit on to-go orders to be anywhere near accurate. Hubby called on a Tuesday night and was told 15-20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes after he called and was told it would be about 5-10 more minutes. After 15 more minutes of waiting, I was told it would be about 5 more minutes because of the Naan. I waited a total of 50 minutes for our food. If you can't make it in the time frame you give, you should just be honest. I had two hungry kids at home waiting for food for an hour.On the bright side the food was tasty and not spicy.
