a bit rich for my taste. but coffee was great and the hot water was too die for! call the funeral home i can die a happy woman

I am stupid picky with my coffee and they have consistently always made me a delicious cup they are sourcing great ingredients and their baristas are super super pleasant and helpful I highly recommend to anyone.

I love Ava! At all locations, the staff are always so friendly and the coffe/treats are delicious. Plenty of indoor seating (unlike some cafés), plus with free Wi-Fi. Open late. Great vibes all around.

Great placed, but unfortunately I waited a really long time for my order. My drinks came fast, but the food was 20 minutes later. The staff wasn’t very communicative about delays and weren’t working with much urgency. Probably needs more staff for the amount of customers coming in the door.

The food was really good, the coffee was great, but the service was not good at all. The staff all looked like they felt indifferent about being there. No one called anything about our orders being ready (and they were not busy at all). And when I went up to ask about sauce I was ignored at first while the staff talked amongst themselves. I've been told this is a Portland thing but I won't be going back here.

Black coffee, I wish it were stronger but no real complaints.

Great coffee and sandwich options, and this place has been an invaluable workspace.

Tried it four times, hoping that maybe I was just getting unlucky. Worst coffee shop I've had in the whole city. Massively disappointed because the Beaverton location is actually good. I don't know how these drinks are getting served without anyone realizing how poorly made they are. Super frustrating. It's just taking up space in a great location that could be used by a better coffee shop. At least La Provence and TLJ are nearby. Please fix your drinks. The temperature is way too high, burning the coffee. Syrups/sauces are being added in random amounts. Such easy fixes, come on.

This place gets overflow from folks waiting to dine at La Provence. If that place didn’t exist, this sub par coffee shop would be empty, because the drinks are horrid. Asked about a flat white today, accepted a double shot latte, and got what tasted like a diluted americano with barely steamed milk. The wife ordered a white chocolate cocoa, which tasted like a half sachet of Swiss Miss in watery milk. The guy taking orders at the front also had the grunty demeanor of a prison guard doing sentry duty on a frigid December night. Everything was just the opposite of what you imagined when you hear “roasteria” in this part of town.

This is the third time I try getting a pastry at Ava’s and the bread taste stale once again. Wish Tonight’s carrot cake tasted as good as it looked but unfortunately let down again. It was so dry I couldn’t even finish it. Anyone looking for fresh pastries should walk a few blocks up to Tour Le Jours.
