I was looking forward to having some food here. It seems a bit overpriced. I ordered a Denver Omelette because I don't like mushrooms, and I let the server know this He then comes over to show me that it says on the menu it comes with mushrooms, but he's pointing to the veggie omelette I then say, I ordered a Denver Omelette not a veggie Two mins later I get a plate with a really huge serving of hash browns and my omelette on top (not impressed) I proceed to eat it, then I get to a part that has egg cooked separately inside the omelette which didn't cook all the way and it looks like someone just coughed up something gross and landed on it. (It was just the u cooked egg, but it was gross looking. I didn't finish it,☹️, and for the price I paid, you would think I had some leftovers coming, but not after all that. I won't be going back. Our server was good, but not the server that came back to show me that the menu indeed said it had mushrooms especially when I didn't even order the one he was showing me.
Best hamburger I've ever eaten! I ordered a Ruben hamburger. Yes that's what I said. It was a hamburger with corn beef on top plus all the traditional Ruben makings. The french fries were just perfect as well as the onion rings. We came at lunch time and on a snow day. I believe they were short staffed but the service was good and the food excellent.I'll be back for sure ?
We waited on our foor for almost an hour and a half. Our waiter told us our food was on the counter ready to come out but took another 15 minutes to deliver it to us. The restaurant was slow maybe five tables of customers. Our waiter seemed more interested on what the police were doing three doors down then his customers. The food was good but very cold.
I was very unhappy with the breakfast I received on new years day. The main issue was that the bacon was greasy and soft. I paid with cash and was not given any change. I didn't realize until I checked the receipt later. The wait staff were not wearing masks half the time. The family used to love coming here, but they have really gone downhill.
So lucky to happen upon this place while passing thru town. The food was delicious! I ordered the cinnamon bread toast w/sugar free syrup. It was exceptional! Our waitress (Chantell) was super nice & even sold me a loaf of freshly baked cinnamon bread so that could share my experience w/my family back home. Good service. Good food. Nice clean setting. Yes I will be back when in town.
The first couple visits was good, however, they never had Rye bread for the Reubens. They were good with the Sauerdough bread. Well, today, I asked my wife to bring me home a reuben, in hopes to get a sandwich with rye bread. It was aweful. The bread was about an inch thick (too thick)on both sides and very dense. To top it off, it lacked the cornbeef that my previous visit had. Maybe, just a really off day, because my first couple visits was good. Had been referring people to try out, not sure I'm comfortable doing that anymore. If their bread didn't come out good, they should never have served it. Disappointing
Our first time here on a Wednesday afternoon. This diner had a charming homey atmosphere. We sat next to a table of 3 elderly patrons. They were welcoming and such sweethearts! We were told everything on the menu are homemade. We ordered blueberry pancakes and sunny's omelette. Both were good but nothing special. Our server (forgot to ask for her name) was very attentive and friendly. Overall experience was positive and we like mom and pop places so will definitely be back!
The service is excellent and the food is superb!!... I travel a lot and its hard to find home cooked food like this...
Cassie was a wonderful waitress, they're lucky to have her! Food was awesome and the portions were big! The wait was WORTH the service ! Thank you!
Food was excellent and the service was too. Definitely will be making more trips here.
