Great presentation and food looked amazing. However, it's a one shot deal for me. There's a lot going on with their dishes because of all the pairing of vegetables with protein as well as the many sauces that are already on the tacos. To the point where there's too much going on and there's no real distinction. The green taco sauce was great and really thats all I remember from this colorful dish. That is the problem because if I order a fish taco I want to remember the fish and if I order a lobster taco I want the lobster to stand out.The owner reaches out immediately to me and tells me it's a negative review and he doesn't need Any negativity on the site. "I'm not your buddy and I was an executive chef for over 17 years." I cooked for Kevin Costner and his wife on several occasions as well as many other celebrities. I don't know who you think you are, but now I'm gonna let you have it. I learned over 3 decades from other chefs. I take constructive criticism well. How would I have known not to order all the stuff if I've never eaten there before period. I gave an honest review and you attacked me. Now I'm changing your 3 stars to 1 star. Let any reasonable sound minded person read my review And see if they reacted the way you did?
First time visiting the Happy Valley Station food cart pod. What a great place for dinner after a day on Mt. Hood. There is something for everyone. We got our meal at Fuego and it was spectacular. We had the shrimp ceviche and chips—what a good appetizer. The carnitas tacos were flavorful with just the right amount of fat. The crispy fish tacos had a nice size piece of fish with a colorful mango salsa. The tacos come with two flour tortillas, so you don’t have to worry about the contents spilling out. We also shared a shrimp rice bowl with a lot of fish, beans, avocado, rice, and a spicy (cheese?) sauce. Definitely recommend everything we had.
The Fuego bowl with tinga was delicious! This wasn't the average meat, beans, and rice bowl. A combination of unique flavors and quality ingredients sets this dish apart from other bowls. This is hot! So if you like to feel the fire, you'll love every bite! I like that the heat didn't detract from the flavor. The portion size is generous, too much for me to finish in one sitting, but it made for great leftovers the next day. It seemed expensive when I first ordered, but after tasting, I believe the price is reasonable.Update 12/11/2021: I have visited this cart a few more times and the food has been consistently excellent. The staff is very friendly.
The soup was very authentic and had a little bit of spice to it (just perfect amount). The tacos were great I had asada and carnitas the asada was definitely better. Mexican corn was amazing gonna get your hands dirty definitely.
I’ve had the burrito twice. It’s delicious, filling and very reasonably priced. I’ll keep coming back.
Have been here 3 times! Amazing birria tacos, best I’ve had in town. Pozole is amazing and delicious albeit a bit small. The chilaquilles in picture are delicious and a great value.
The Birria Tacos were amazing!!! Their menu was really cool too. I'll definitely be back to try the other items.
I had heard amazing things about the Happy Valley Food Carts but had never tried it... needless to say we will most definitely be going back!!Fuego All Day was awesome. We were kindly greeted at the truck and our order was taken and VERY quickly we were buzzed back to the truck as our food was ready! It was our first time trying Birria tacos... what a nice experience. The crisp of the shell was a great pair for the consomme! The meat was juicy and packed with flavor! The only thing missing was more napkins! Their hot sauces were also delicious. If the tacos weren't enough, we also tried their crispy fried crab taco which was equally delicious.Food was awesome and service was great. Looking forward to trying out other menu items upon our next visit!
Impressive that food of this calibre can be consistently churned out of a cart, but somehow they do it. A taco truck with a gourmet twist on things— which is not usually the kind of thing I'm into—but I keep coming back for more. Everything on the menu is like a work of art.
If you truly eat with your eyes first, then the cuisine from Fuego All Day is a feast to behold. The food was well presented and it was delicious. We were delighted with the selection and the variety was interesting and tasty!! We will be visiting again very soon. The shrimp tacos were my favorite.
