Location is always slow....pre pandemic and now. I am prepared for this when I go there occasionally...as I expect it from them because they are generally trying. But, when they are double checking your order and you try to ask if they got something and a finger comes up and your told 'I'm not looking for specifics', and then part if the order is wrong. Just not worth the slow service. Too many other options.
I ordered a number 10 and paid for what I thought was the meal. The manager was the one who rang me up. I was on lunch break and I took my order, but found the fries were missing. That's when I found the manager had not charged me properly and then proceeded to ask for 3 dollars more for the fries. When I showed my receipt and said I only would pay the difference she got upset with me. She did give me fries but threw away my receipt and tried to throw the sandwich away. I needed the receipt to be compensated by my company because it's part of my contract. I can not be reimbursed without a receipt. Very disappointed with service.
There were 3 cars in line when I ordered. 20 minutes later I was paying for my food. The cashier dropped some of the money I was handing him, and didn’t care. His energy was low, and it didn’t seem as if anyone cared how long customers were waiting to get their food. I would avoid this location until their is new leadership, or ownership. They don’t deserve your business.

Sadly, I was not a fan this visit. Again the grilled chicken was an odd texture, very unusual and hard to describe. (The reason for the lost star.) It's been like this on several other occasions over the years, convincing me, finally, not to order grilled chicken again. So sad as I love the flavors of the charbroiled chicken club.On a positive, when I called I was told if I came back, they'd make it right. (The reason for only one lost star.) However, I chose not to go back out just for that. I also chose to throw out the sandwich. Besides the chicken texture, I'd accidentally ordered the wrong sandwich because I didn't pay attention to the new meal numbers, and it just wasn't my flavor.
Fast food in general is well..fast food. I occasionally temp myself with a big mac from Mc. Donald’s or frosty from Wendy's. But its just in and out. But in all my life i’ve never been so welcomed eating in a restaurant than early this week at the Carl’s jr. Happy Valley location. I’m 76 and have a hard time moving around, This young gentleman by the name of Jack I believe, helped me to a table and assisted me in ordering. Anything I needed Jack and the rest of the crew were right on top of it. Best food and service I’ve ever had the privilege of experiencing.
Monster Angus burger!! Yum! Finally one of the mass producers came up with a really awesome 1/3 pound of burger (X2)These guys were really fast, went through the drive through, didn't have to wait, looked and tasted as though it wasn't on the warming table for hours, good job all....
The jalapeño burger was awesome!!
Convenient location for me and typical food standard for Carl Jr. 5 star for what it is, a fast food chain.
Maybe it's an old guy thing, but I hate it when they can't tell you how much it is to change your combo from fries to onion rings.
