Staff, service and food was pretty darn great for us this past week. We had a BBQ chicken pizza and some cocktails. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu items offering great suggestions to enhance the pizza flavor and funny to boot. The only reason for a 4-star review versus 5-star is that the cocktails were weak. I'm guessing they carefully measure under what the prescribed alcohol content is because I tasted only cranberry juice and I'm a super light weight drinker. We went mid-week and it was slow but my dinner mate has been there when packed like sardines and says that the service/food is still great under pressure.
So I just got a take & bake pizza from California Pizza, a 5 cheese & it came w/ NO SAUCE! So I called 2 say they made a mistake & they told me that's how it comes & it says that on the menu? Now of course I checked the menu & alot of their pizzas don't mention sauce, but I'm pretty sure a hawiian pizza comes w/ sauce, but it don't say that on that on the menu? I got cheesy bread! And paid alot 4 it! They made NO effort 2 make it rite! Just kept giving excuses, will never eat there again & I think I will call the company & let them know how they r running the business over in Clackamas it's over priced & there pizza suxs and I eat alot of pizza, but not there Eva again! Soo disappointed
Good lunch spot with deals. Tasty drinks and food. The BBQ chicken and Jamaican jerk are classics. Definitely recommend?
went out for grand sons birthday dinner . Was told how awesome this place was?? Service was quick and the waitress was a doll! However the food??? Spinich artichoke dip was like a bowl of unseasoned watery spinich, horrible!! Fish tacos, the avacado still had the peel on the edges, the fish was like overcooked fish sticks that had zero flavor!!, it cost us $65 bucks for 2 dinners, the app, and 2 lemonades!! Please advise chef cause something needs to be done!!
This was my first time here. Our pasta dishes were excellent! I will say it was a bit spendy for the portion size but overall it was a nice experience.
Ordered via Uber Eats… pizza was cold, NO sauces with the egg rolls and they FORGOT to give the driver my Cucumber cooler drink. I called. And they just said “We’re pretty busy”So am I … that’s why I ordered food. So I spent $45 and all that is edible is the salad. POOR CUSTOMERS SERVICE
I have multiple food allergies and have one item on the menu that I can always trust, the Bahn Mi Bowl. I slightly modify, removing carrots and radishes and asking for extra Avocado and double dressing. They never charge more for these modifications which is also great. Always amazing this way. I have always let staff know to put an allergy alert on my order and have never gotten sick. I was even surprised to learn today that I had a $15 off reward! Very great experience and my child very much enjoyed his Alfredo pasta.
Walked in two hours before close to an empty restaurant, my husbands mask dropped on the wet ground outside and couldn’t be worn so I asked politely if I could get a mask for him come inside and dine. They said no. No resolution. Nothing. So they also got no business. Went next door to Cheesecake Factory instead who was gracious and offered a mask immediately and politely.
I love the food at California Pizza Kitchen, but have been so frequently dissatisfied in their execution! 3 of 4 times ordering the gluten free margherita pizza with the extra mushrooms via Grubhub they have forgotten to put on the mushrooms!! And they have messed up my order when dining in there in person. WTH? Can their cooks not read the orders? Or just to busy to do a good job? Disappointed!!
Great service and a great pizza crafted for the individual taste. They recognize the veteran and I appreciate that very much!!!
