They didn't growl? I don't know if im in the wrong place but I came for a show. These people told me stuff like "Sir, we can't let you 'see the stuff' without you paying for it." and "PLEASE GET OFF THE COUNTER!". Refused to provide more information. God where can a man go to find The Growler?
Good service and fantastic beer selection. A couple huge 4k TV's for people that are into that. Owner is very nice and friendly. Great beer selection and very nice atmosphere. Good outdoor seating three of which are covered for even the worst of weather.
Growler garage is a nice enough place to go, great tap list, cool decor, it's small, which I think most of the clientele enjoy because they all seem to know each other. It's a real live local watering hole kind of place. Own a place downtown? Third generation Gresham Gopher? This is your joint. If Hoppy Brewer (down the road) is a family friendly pub and Bandits (in Troutdale) is a straight bar... This place is somewhere in between. A better place to take 2 or 3 football loving drinking buddies than it is to take your attractive girlfriend in a low cut shirt on a Friday night I guess is what I am saying. I am just as country as I need to be, in a perfect world I'd be able to break a bar stool over a guy's back for staring too hard for too long, but I got mouths to feed, and don't have the time or resources for a jail cell anymore. I'll be back in, I like this place, but depending on the hour, if you are wearing skinnier jeans than your girlfriend and/or a scarf you might consider Von Ebert's or somewhere further west.

Great place with 35 taps, cider, beer, seltzer, and a kambucha. It's a kicked back place that allows you to order food to be delivered there. There is indoor and covered outdoor seating.
Small place with an excellent beer selection. Will visit again for sure.

Don't let them fool you. It's just beer and popcorn. The menu is not accurate. They DO NOT serve food.
