Wow! The Pork and Green Chile Tamale was excellent, the Sweet Corn Tamale a real treat.But man oh man, you got to try the beans! Estupendo!Excellent value for price to quantity and quality of food. Excellent tamales.But did I mention the beans?! Yumm!
I have had these in the past and they were great a good balance of filling to Masa. But this time I had 20 ordered and was disappointed with the balance being mostly masa and less filling made them kind of dry. I won't be getting anymore for the cost I paid for them 10 for 25.00
Tamales are reasonably priced but pretty bland. Chicken is better than beef. Beans have no flavor and taste like plain boiled beans and rice is dry and flavorless as well.
Dry lack luster tamales ,plain beans and rice and I am 100% sure I heard a microwave being used . Will not go back

We ordered 1 dozen half chicken with red salsa and pork with green salsa.They had good flavor however I wasn't expecting so much mass and little meats inside. This made them a little on the dry sideI will still go back to try other flavors.
As first impressions go: FINALLY somewhere in Portland I can get some REAL TAMALES. You can tell these are hand made with love and I love it.We tried a mixed dozen (chose pork, chicken, & jalapeño-cheese) tamales with side of rice/beans. Tamales were deliciously STUFFED with filling, not dry at all. Salsas were delicious too!Bet the horchata is done RIGHT (like the food is!) because they were fresh out for the day. Will definitely come back to try the Oaxacan style tamales & horchata (if I’m lucky: it goes fast - a good sign IMO)!
I just made an order through uber eats like 7 tamales a guajolota and sodas beans and rice And i only received 2 tamales and very cold!!! Paying $50 dlls and waiting over an hour and still got my order wrong and my driver went back to ask you if the order was right! Its just not right!!! And even the two tamales i got are very cold!!!
First time going there excellent service tamales are delicious and champurrado is right on point! Will be going back!
