I’ve gone here 5+ times and it’s always been a great experience. They have a bar to eat at the conveyer belt or even booths. Great prices, great service. Definitely recommend.
Really good, nice variety of choices.
Eat at your own risk:Sushi is left on the belts too long, may result in spontaneous trouser chili lasting up to 48 hours.Service was wonderful though, real friendly and attentive.
The wait staff weren't polite or attentive. Had to ask for things multiple times. Hardly any selection. And now only 3 rolls per plate? Are you cost cutting? Not worth it.
I the food is great! But I really hate finding pieces of other sushi in my food. I'm a vegan so whenever there's meat or the fish eggs it's really frustrating, and it's so consistent I just expect it to always happen. It really worries me about cleanliness.
I moved Downtown a month ago but this was my go-to restaurant for sushi when I lived in Troutdale so I gotta give them 5 stars. It wasn't the freshest or most delicious, but the conveyor belt made it easy to choose and stuff yourself lol. Jalapeno peppers were bomb too?
A sushi go round! If you have not tried conveyor belt Sushi this is a great place to start. The sushi prep happens right in front of you so you know that it's fresh and well made. Each item is on a colored plate, and up on the wall is a clearer picture of how much each plate you take off the conveyor belt will cost. No guessing about any surprise expenses when it comes time to settle the bill. Just neatly stack up your lids and plates and when it's time to go they'll count them up and you're on your way.My favorite thing about this restaurant is a person can almost always go in, sit down, and immediately start eating without having to wait to order. If you only have a half hour for lunch and then you will be able to eat your fill and be done quite quickly. There is also a menu of certain entrees, Sashimi, as well as drinks. Just remember that if you pick it up then it is your plate, don't make the mistake of trying to put things back on the conveyor belt.
Ate here and decided to do the math ourselves before getting to the register. They charged us $10 more, which is about 4-5 plates, than the prices advertised on the wall. Food is not bad but probably wont be back due to over charging.
Often times when my wife and I order large to go orders they are missing multiple plates worth of sushi. (Easily $6-8 worth of sushi)This is a pretty big deal for us because we almost never can afford to eat out. Also the salmon is our food based antidepressant so this literally makes us sad. They have also attempted to pressure my wife into paying twice because they were either oblivious or malicious. Threw away her receipt after she directly asked for it. Well lying to her face and saying it didn't print. Then also accused her of not asking.
It’s a convenience factor for me. The sushi is ok, the options are blah nearly 1/2 the time on the belt. So you need to order. Service is spotty and the daunting owner who walks around standing over the workers shoulder…why do you do that? It’s freakin weird and I’ve seen you do it nearly 10 diff occasions. Learn to trust your people and let ‘em work.
