My wife gets a craving for a Panera sandwich now and then. Tonight, I grabbed one for myself.I got the new Spicy Take chicken sandwich. Well... that's what I ordered. What I GOT was a dry, overcooked (sat under heat lamps for hours?) chicken filet on a bun slathered in some anonymous sauce... with NOTHING else on the bun. I removed the cold chicken to heat it up and took pics of the bun, as it was served to me. I did end up putting my own sauce and veggies on the sandwich, but nothing was saving that bit of chicken leather. I ended up feeding a chunk of the chicken to my dog. ***Nothing against the employees, and I sometimes enjoy the coffee and baked goods here. But... WOW. For a $10+ sandwich, throw a pickle on there, or something.
I just to love Panera in San Francisco, California. today we are in Gresham Oregon and we had the worst experience ever. I was trying to buy a $200 gift and lunches for my daughter, my mom and myself. My sandwich was cold and by the time we got my mom's Lunch my daughter and I already finished ours. The people here are not nice I will say they aren't the best at customer service. By the way I wasn't able to buy the gift card. Honestly now I feel lucky about that, I don't feel like coming back here.
Friendly and good service!
Little to no effort was put into my order. I had ordered a chicken noodle soup, 2 BBQ chicken salad, a chocolate chip cookie and turkey sandwich which ALL turned out to be HORRIBLE. The soup had no chicken or even noodles, the BBQ chicken salad was not only an extremely small portion but there were only 2 or 3 tiny chunks of chicken. The greens in my salad were all wilted and brownish. My chocolate chip cookie was almost burnt and SUPER hard to chew. The sandwich had 3 lbs of onion and little turkey. Overall it was all very disappointing.
Slowest Panera location ever. There was only one girl working on bread. Finally someone came to ring, but the bread girl disappeared. They should really be at least two people working in the front of house. The entire time I was there they had a long line of people waiting. Clackamas has nicer staff and faster service.
I have had their Margherita pizza twice, and both times it has not disappointed. Thank you.
I'm rating them over all the times we have eaten there. Most the time their food is fine. On occasion they screw up the order, like this time, they put tomato on my wife's sandwich (when we specified no tomato) and she is allergic. Sometimes everything is cold even when I pick it up myself. It also seems they are out of a lot of desserts by the time we order. Overall they are fine but there is room for improvement.
One of the best customer services I have ever experienced. The manager asked me if I had tried a certain sandwich and I never had she said I’m going to get you one to go so you can try it!!!!! She also gave me a free cookie and my meal was delicious. I appreciated the kindness I was shown and I will definitely be back to this location! Great job to the crew thanks for making my day !
Don't bother to take the time to go in to sit down for a meal here. The staff are focused 90% on online orders. There was 1 register operational when I went in. The line was at least 10 people long. By the time I got to the register almost 20 minutes had past due to the employee at the register taking a good deal of time foe each person since she couldn't hear what anyone was saying. I could have put in my order online 20 times in that time frame. The dine in seating was full. In the time I waited for my food 10 drivers for food delivery would pick up food for online orders for every 1 indoor diner. By the time I got my food I was so frustrated I didn't check it. I got to to find out they didn't give me everything I ordered and paid for.
Our church put in a large order for pastries but picked the wrong date. Panera without missing a beat filled out order without complaint or making me feel bad. Even offered me coffee and a bagel while I waited Great customer service!!!! Will be back again for sure. Thanks AJ and everyone else that helped out today.
