This review is based off two visits in the past two weeks. Both times I visited here with my partner, different male wait staff have been nothing short of misogynistic; once is a fluke, twice is a pattern.It’s very apparent the employees here feel men make all the decisions for their parties: from taking orders to choosing to only refill waters when a man’s glass is empty first.While the food here isn’t actually half-bad, I’d much rather spend my money at a restaurant that treat women with basic shreds of dignity.
Absolutely amazing customer service. We asked if the enchiladas were made with corn tortillas and the server informed us without prompt that they are made with corn tortillas but the sauce had flour (Amazing since my boyfriend has celliacs and we wouldn't have thought to ask about the sauce). Not to mention that everything tasted great, and the restaurant felt incredibly cozy!
First time here. I went with family to celebrate a birthday. Excellent service, great tasting food, and good-sized portions. Everyone from the person who greeted us at the door, to our server, and everyone else n between were kind, and really funny! They sang happy birthday and they all have great voices :) I will be back again, and will tell others to do the same!
Everything tasted kind of bland, and slathered in cheese. The salsa had no heat to it, tasted like tomatoes and onion. You do get large portions but it's not worth the price. The staff was friendly and the service was good.
Cannot say anything about the cleanliness, decor, or food as the manager met us at the door and denied us entry. (We were not masked. To eat. Eye roll.)We went somewhere else and spent our money at a less prejudiced establishment.
Service was quick and friendly. Tortilla chips were served warm. Portions were heaping and loaded with cheese. Basic Mexican American comfort food.
We came for dinner. My order was chili Colorado, beef stew with red sauce, beef was tender but it was very salty and all I can tasted. Started with chips and salsa was good. My friends ordered was ok , carne asada plate looked burned and dried. Other dish was enchilada plate, my friend only like her beans and rice. Service was good, someone came over and offered ice cream, that was nice which was why I gave 3 stars,
They discriminating CHRISTIAN PEOPLE. We eat there almost every Sunday. Our church love to gather, and have the dinner La Caretta of Gresham. We respect, and talk nice towards everyone that works there. We literally couldn’t believe that THEY DON’T DON’T ACCEPTING US IN THERE. Please have in mind THAT WE DIDN’T anything wrong. La CARETTA OF GRESHAM ARE DISCRIMINATING PEOPLE END OF THE STORY !!!
Went for lunch. Prices were very reasonable for such huge portions and the staff were very friendly, but the food was only just ok. Wish the salsa was spicier.
Classic in Gresham wish the salsa wasn't so watery but service is usually great and you'll leave fat and happy ?
