Chicken, rice and salad was just prime!
I got the teriyaki salmon and my boyfriend got the chicken and they were both big portions and yummy. Worth the money, especially the nice filet of salmon I got ?
Got the chicken katsu, chicken was paper thin but crispy. Customer service was mediocre at best. Grumpy cashier but that’s okay, being dissapointed with the service and food, led us to go to Nara Teriyaki which is AMAZING! Thank you Joy Teriyaki for the bad service and bad food. It led us to Nara Teriyaki.

Ordered vegetable stir fry with beef. Found like 5 or 6 pieces of beef. Usually order it with chicken and get a decent amount of chicken. If we order beef,…. Don’t tell us we will get miniscule amounts,… make us pay a bit more for similar protein amts. Was not expecting this. 5 little tiny chunks of meat in my vegetable stir fry meat combo. Have had a lot better at other Joy places. If cost affects,…. make beef cost more to be more equal to what a customer gets previously with chicken or pork.
Portions are super small. I find it pretty ridiculous they charge 25 cents every extra little thing of teriyaki. Just shows you the people who own this place really just care about the check at the end of the month.

Spicy chicken was fantastic and the spicy sauce. Mm sweet but with a good kick to it. Serving size wasnt half bad and the price was around what I expected since the other places nearby charge about as much for a meal.The cashier, (I assume the owner) was reserved so not any good for small talk, but the food definetly made up for it.Tl: dr dont expect small talk, grab a decently sized chicken meal with some great sauces.
