Biscuits is a really great breakfast place. I like the coffee as well. Their menu had a better than average food variety, but could do well with a few more veggie/vegan dishes. Also, the veggie dishes they did have had a lot of the same mixes, example-tomatoes in every dish etc. The biscuits and jam are amazing. The service was good, though there wasn't enough wait staff, but that's everywhere right?!
Food is great, Service is Sub Standard and or Not on their Business Model? Have visited this "Cafe" several times, in the past couple of months, I've sat Unattended in excess of 15 minutes, No Coffee Offer, Or Service. Simply gave up and left. On two occasions I visited with guests, same status, NO SERVICE, Simply got up and Left. Not sure, but I'd bet they are losing not only revenue, but a good Customer Base. I'll not go back!
I've been to Biscuits countless times and love their food. They were relatively busy but we were treated as invisible for the first 10 minutes. Multiple servers walked right past us without so much as a: "Thank you for waiting. We'll be with you in a moment."We came in and stood for 10 minutes before the staff even looked at us.Then, after being seated we waited for 20 minutes before being served. We finally just walked out. Walking out is really not in my character but it was ridiculous.Went to Shari's around the corner and were served by friendly staff and ordered in less than 3 minutes. No waiting whatsoever.Perhaps they were just having a bad day so I may be willing to give them another try in the future. But my friend with me said: "I will not return. Their food is ok but not good enough to be ignored for a half hour."Their menu has always seemed pricey but tolerable.
One of the better places to eat breakfast in Gresham. Nice selections of options to eat. Friendly service. It seemed a bit slow, but maybe they are short staffed? It was barely a third full when I was there. Fairly good social distancing of tables.
Great solid menu of favorites and some new options to extend your comfort zone. Staff is always friendly helpful and attentive.
The service is absolutely excellent. We have ordered on DD several times, but officially ate in this morning. It was even better in person. Our server was delightful, had a bit of an ordeal out front, and the staff handled it so well. They even have cute coffee mugs for sale as well. Will definitely be back.
Food was good, portions were substantial. I ordered the meat lovers scramble and would not suggest this if you like crispy bacon. It was a little too soft for my liking.
Worst customer service ever! I would give them a ZERO if I could! I came in this morning at the Gresham location and was sat by the door. I asked to be moved to the table by the window because it was cold and gets colder with the door being opened. I was told by Jeff that I cannot because of sections. Two minutes later a couple walk in and are sat at the exact table I wanted to be at! What the hell?!?!?!
Not my best experience here.I've been eating at this restaurant roughly every couple of months for the past year or so with my neighbor, who is a longtime customer, but today's visit was a bit disappointing for me and very possibly the last one for my companion. This was the busiest the restaurant has been since I've been coming but I'm not sure if that accounts for the problems we experienced. First, we had to wait several minutes to be seated, and despite there being other tables available, the hostess/cashier showed us to a table by to the exit door, which today meant having very chilly air rush over us every few minutes. The table was clean and properly set, and our waitress appeared promptly with coffee and water and frequently enough while we were deciding what to order. I ordered the Ham Benedict (with hash browns) and my companion chose a "Build Your Own" breakfast with two eggs (over medium), hash browns and turkey bacon, with a side of ranch dressing.I didn't check the time but we finished our coffee and a refill (at least 20 minutes?) before we were offered an apology for the delay ("a problem with the Hollandaise") and assurance that it would be only a few more minutes. It was more like 10 more. The orders did arrive complete, other than there being no ranch dressing, which it took two requests--to two different waitpersons--to get, halfway through my companion's meal (with a muttered apology "for the problems").We were again offered more coffee, which I accepted but my companion did not, preferring more water instead, which also took two requests to get.I also added a side order of biscuits (as neither of our meals came with them), which were delivered with the rest of our meal but, once we'd finished all we could eat, our check was dropped off (before being asked if we wanted anything else) but we were not asked if we needed to-go containers for our leftover potatoes (no) or biscuit (yes). Again, we had to track down another waiter than our own to request one. Finally, when paying, I provided my customer rewards information, expecting to have credits from my last visit or two, but there were none showing (and which I know I hadn't used).I won't say I won't be back, since this experience was an anomaly for me, but my companion, who has previously had only comparable ones, specifically said he won't.
Great breakfasts freshly made with quality ingredients. Get there early because it gets busy fast!
