Bar/club, has a room with pool tables and a dance club dance floor.
Owner Needs to fix the rude bartender. Asked about gluten free and the bartender went all rude.
Tall, bearded bartender complained about me tipping him $3 on 2 casamigos shots instead of showing some appreciation. As somebody who works in the service industry, it’s a little sad that somebody who also works in this industry would complain about this. But I get it, there are tough nights. Just remember there are people who will shamelessly no tip on a lot more. Anyways, try out a different spot downtown Gresham. Might get more bang for your buck as well as better service/appreciation gauranteed.
I went to 2nd Street Bar for my first and last time on Friday (4/15/22). To start off I ordered a well vodka soda from the clearly annoyed bartender who mentioned the longer than usual wait time being because a coworker had called out. I didn’t mind waiting even though the bar was practically empty. The bartender said my drink would be $5 and I left my tab open. Shortly after, I ordered a Mai Tai, it was decent. The atmosphere was pretty dull so my friend and I got our checks. My bill came out to $14 which was marked as $7 for each drink even though the bartender told me earlier it would be $5 for the vodka soda. I didn’t fuss about it. I cashed out my card and tipped with cash. Today, the transaction finally goes through on my bank account and I was charged an extra $2 because I was silly enough to leave the tip line open on my receipt (did I mention I tipped with cash?). I learned my lesson and I won’t be getting drinks from these crooks anymore - it’s not about $2 it’s about the immorality. 0/10 don’t recommend.
Excellent place to dance!
It's a great bar and they have the best karaoke on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the best KJ in the state of Oregon. It's a must go to on Tuesdays and Thursday nights with amazing bartenders as well.
Bar tender there is bad at acting busy, and good at ingnoring you, or I should say, me. From the start I didn't like the service, he pretended not to understand me and when I repeated my drink 3 times, he put together the saddest weakest drink, I asked if I could just have a bottled beer instead and after a one time exchange of "are you kidding me" he won by saying "just leave". Couple older folks sitting at the bar just chuckled at the interaction, and I left. That's all I needed to experience.
The band's sound system (a couple amplified speakers) was distorting cause it was a little too loud, not the bars fault. Drinks were reasonable, patrons were very friendly.
Great service good drinks at reasonable prices good was good but not great. Relaxed atmosphere. Will return
Great bar. With Silk Nasty on the mic dj'n it's always good time to come thru.
