My husband and I were there for dinner last night. We were seated quickly and were provided decent service.The food was terrible. I ordered their new brisket chips. That was a mistake as they were absolutely disgusting. The whole combination missed the mark, but the worst part was that they used potato chips and liquid cheese, so it was a pile of mushy, nasty chips within minutes of me receiving it.The real kicker for the night though was a younger employee, seemed to be cleaning and bussing tables. At one point he was behind the counter very loudly making fun of special needs people. Then he went behind towards the kitchen and was yelling what sounded like monkey sounds. Not one of the other employees said anything, which just added to the disappointment of the moment. Is this the image that Red Robin wants to put forward? It wasn't a good look.The only reason I am giving 2 stars and not one is because of our server.Do better.
Edit: the owner called to follow up on our experience. He was very kind and apologetic. I really appreciate the extra effort to makeup for it and that it wasn't some typical generated email. We will definitely be back and look forward to a better time. I'm updating the stars because of how personal he was. Thanks again!Horrible service. We spent most of the time trying to get our servers attention so we could get forgotten food and our check. We couldn't find our waitress once it was time to pay so we tried to go up front. Told we couldn't pay there, tried to pay at the bar, told nope. They took our check to a manager so she could cash us out. She processed it AT THE BAR where we were told we couldn't do it at. The only reason they get 3 stars is because my kids like the chicken strips they got. There needs to be better training or more waitresses to customers ratio.
It was empty at the time we went so no worries about sitting next to people. The waitress was very nice an attentive. The food was great!
This is the first time we have visited this Red Robin location. Normally we visit the Red Robin in Medford, but we were visiting my dad in Grant Pass. We sat in the bar area, and the service was quick and attentive. My only real complaint had more to do with what was available and unavailable verses our experience at the Medford location. When we arrived, our server listed a couple of items that would be unavailable, Chicken for chicken burgers, and hard-boiled eggs for salads. This was fine, but it was amusing that they were out of hard-boiled eggs. There is a grocery store across the street, and boiling eggs seems like a basic kitchen task. No matter, we didn't need those things. There is also a section on the menu for soups, and when asked what soup was available the server stated that they don't carry soup. This was also fine, just another strange occurrence. I suspect many of these things were caused by COVID shortages, or maybe a manager not ordering enough product.Our meal was good and we enjoyed the items we ordered. We had a good time and we enjoyed ourselves. When it came time to order desert, we were told that they were out of the signature cake (which is fine) and that they were out of ice cream to make shakes. Again, there is a grocery store across the street, and we saw the bar tender using a standard store-bought ice cream, so it's not like a special ice cream had run out :-)Strange shortages aside, we would come back to this location.
It's always good at Red Robin! And the service at this one was very good even though they were short staffed. Always clean too. I've had different things on the menu there, and have not been disappointed. Highly recommend Red Robin if you want a good burger... They even have very good salads!
This is for my experience at the Grants Pass Red Robin. Food and service was excellent! I didn't get the servers name but he was fantastic! We also had an interaction with another member of the staff and he was awesome too. He may have been a manager. It was my birthday dinner and I got a free ice cream sundae too! They seemed to be well staffed and relatively busy as well.
I ordered online and my order was scheduled to be complete in 20 minutes. My husband decided he wanted a burger so I called and asked them to add that to the online order. I arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes after the original order was complete, figuring 15-20 minutes for the burger was enough time. The girl at the counter told me it would be 5 more minutes. I sat near the counter and waited, and waited. After 20 minutes, I asked her if the burger was done. “Yes, it’s right here”, she told me as she reached her arm behind the wall and grabbed it. She didn’t bother to let me know it had been ready long enough that everything was cold! Wasted money and cold food!!! Never, ever will I go back!!!
We sat in the bar and service was poor. The bartender was left to make the drinks for the restaurant without any help from another staff member. A waitress dropped a plate of food and then walked away. A different staff member was left to clean it up. The same waitress would not respond when told thank you 3 times.

Our food was very cold. We ordered through Door Dash and never were notified it was ready. We went in, out of frustration, and it was sitting there waiting. Not a great experience. Food would have been good if warm.
