My husband ordered me crunchy chicken tacos and when I received my food it was soggy and lacking any flavor. The taco shells were mush, chicken had no flavor and lettuce was wilted. ?Edit: yes in fact I do have the right location we were just there a few hours ago. The tacos were covered with lettuce and the small, tattoo girl offer to make them crunchy. My husband ordered the Macho burrito.
What a treat! Fantastic Mexican food. Warm chips when you are seated with very tasty salsa. I ordered a margarita which was "under powered" and told my server, Yadi, and she brought me a margarita that was packed with punch. Food was great, service was impeccable. My only regret is that I don't live in the area so I won't be able to come back very soon, however, when I'm passing through, I know where I will be eating.
I’ve been to Malecon once before, and it was really good! My husband surprised me tonight and got me Fajitas... but for spending over $19, I would have expected better QUALITY STEAK! I couldn’t even chew half of it, it was way too TOUGH! So instead.. my dog got some steak, and I’m going to go and get something else to eat, what a waste… ?
We went here because of the good reviews. On aTuesday evening we were the only dine in customers. Several others picked food up. The place is older inside but clean. The young man that was our waiter was attentive. I was concerned at first when the tortillas came out well before the entrée and our food did not come at the same time. However, the food was very good with lots of flavor. The guacamole was amazing. When we finished the owner came over for a chat with us. We will come here again when we stop in Grants Pass
Love this authentic family operated restaurant. With many other good choices in town this is the best. Food is meticulously prepared fresh. Service is delightful and prompt every time.Further the character of this family and business showed tonight as they treated a “impoverished traveler seeking opportunities” with the same respect and generosity as every other customer. This represents the best of Hispanic culture.I bring my best friends here to eat.
I would give less than one star but I can’t. Ordered chicken nachos to share with my husband, the cheese wasn’t even melted. Ordered a strawberry margarita and it tasted like nothing but strawberry syrup. So for one nacho, a Coor’s light, a margarita with an extra well tequila shot we paid $39.25. I’ve never had such awful Mexican food and service
Nice little cantina. Good food...great prices. They even serve Menudo daily and have a decent breakfast burrito at almost half the cost of other's $12 burritos. Chile Rellanos are nice and so are the margaritas ?
They were welcoming and attentive to patrons.Our order was taken quicky and the staff checked back to see if we needed more chips and salsa or coffee.My taco salad with chicken was delicious and more than I expected.
Great little Cantina that serves a nice breakfast burrito, chili rellano, Margarita and they serve Menudo daily ...all at great prices
