Our first visit, and it won't be the last. The place was full of Hispanic customers, which is the best possible indicator of a great Mexican restaurant! We sat in the cantina and were served by the most gracious and helpful lady bartender, though I didn't get her name. The food was really good and came out so fast that I couldn't believe it. I would like to give a perfect 5 stars, but I have to be honest and say that the tortillas for my enchiladas were pasty and should have held up better considering the speed with which they arrived. The flavors, however, were outstanding. I took photos of our dishes, since they looked so good, but it seems my phone ate them! We will be back soon.
I never write bad reviews but I don’t want anyone to have the experience we had. Our favorite Mexican place was closed and I know many of the others in town have good food. I told my husband I felt bad because we haven’t tried this place, “it was awful!” The food had no flavor, no seasoning at all was used. The horchata was even bad and tasted like powder. I strongly encourage the owners to try any of the other Mexican dining in town to try to get pointers how the food is supposed to taste. Going here ruined our date night.
We had not been there in years. Safe to say it was still amazing! We ordered the Ensalada Grande (taco salad in a big fried shell) with chicken, the Carne Asada super burrito, and kids chicken taquitos with rice and beans. It was all amazing! I could live off of the fried shell by itself, but my husband's super burrito was hands down the best he's ever had! Love the atmosphere and the staff is always so friendly. Fantastic portions for a cheap price.
Their "Carne Asada" had pieces of bones in it. Server asked how my food was, explained and showed her, she told me I should of said something right away. Well, I would of, if the first few pieces were like that, just my luck, it wasn't till I was towards the end of eating my meal that I had the displeasure of biting down on pieces of bone. I thought, they SHOULD OF served me quality food to begin with so we wouldn't have issues in the first place. Because every time I have sent food back in the past it just comes out worse the second time anyway. Last time I'll be going to this place.
Our food came out hot on the outside, cold on the inside. It was pretty evident the meat had been microwaved. Our server (who also had not brought us silverware before our food, resulting in a weird few minutes where we got to stare at our plates,) tried to make us feel guilty for sending it back, and when it did return it was steaming and extremely chewy, exactly like it had now just been over microwaved. Between that and the bone in my beef that almost chipped my tooth we will certainly not be returning.
My date and I found the place by "accident" so we went in. Enjoyed a geat meal in a lovely atmophere and great service. He had the Chili Colorado and a strawberry Marguerita and being a Mexican foodie, he remarked it was the best he'd had in a long time!High praise coming from
We were told that this is the place to go for great Mexican food the service was not very good at all didn't even get served any silverware or napkins when we got serve nachos when she came out with our plate she slammed it on the table and walked away and didn't give us any napkins the nachos I will say was very good but the chimichanga tasted like they heated it up was cold and did not taste very good at all my husband shrimp enchiladas didn't even hardly have any shrimp in them we will never come back to this restaurant ever again
Wonderful staff! Great atmosphere. It is tastefully decorated and the large stone fireplace makes it feel homey. The chips are hot and thin. The salsas are muey bueno! The meals are served quickly, not to mention the generous portions and delicious. They make the best Mexican food in town. The magueritas are excellent. There are vegetarian dishes. They aim to please. My favorite dish at the moment are the Creama Enchiladas with guacamole and sour cream.
First of all, the food was delivered in a ridiculously fast amount of time. Generally in most places I can get a drink down before I get my food. Not here. Half way through my Patron margarita (which was fantastic by the way) our food was delivered. And it was amazing! I had the Cajun burrito. Amazingly good. Not sure what my coworkers had but they all enjoyed it very much. The ambiance was great, the servers were very friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend for a great time and a great meal.
We enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks are good, but the service is a bit slow... one of the waiters was vacuuming while we were waiting for our food, which took a long while considering what we ordered. Would come here again, hoping that it's ~a bit~ different. :]
