I have not been here and them actually get an order correct. Not once, and I've given them many chances. I think the concept is good, they do have good sweet potato fries, but everything else lacks. They could really do some stuff (maybe better ingredients?) That would really enhance the flavor combinations of their menu items.Overall I just dislike going somewhere that cannot get the simplest orders right. It wastes time and money and I'm simply not willing to go again. Some people of GP seem to really like it. They have a decent menu, but the flavors seem to run together instead of stand out and compliment each other. Wish I could give them a rocking review but I just can't.The food through the drive through can actually take quite a while to come out to you, same as in store. Give them a try if you want!Happy Burgering!
I am absolutely appaled. I loved this place when I was a kid, I come back and I had the WORST time of my life. The older man working the cash register was creepy beyond belief. He stood inches away from my girlfriend and said very suggestive things when giving us our food, I wouldn't be surprised if it was tainted in some way. On top of that he asked us if we needed anything, but didn't ask any of the 10 other people in the restaurant. This is absolutely not okay, I feel violated and disgusted. This is the worst service and experience of my life, do not go here if you are an attractive female.
We met Jimmy! Do yourself a favor and skip In and Out Burger and eat at Jimmy’s Classic Drive In. The meat is all grass fed and tastes great. My shake was hand-made with real blackberries, no syrups. The staff is friendly, the service fast, and the ambience that of a real drive in. We drove down from Salem to escape the rain and found this treasure as well!
Wow whatta place! So, not only was this the BEST classic American burger I've ever had...the owner brought us out a sampling of their famous onion rings! OH MY STARS! Delicious! The beef is 100% Eastern Oregon grown and they get fresh deliveries twice a week. You can really tell the difference in the quality! This will be a stop for me every time I come through Grants Pass!
Always delicious and often my first choice for carryout (by far one of the best places in town). This last time we did have a communication issue. It happens, its life right? Well their customer service really blew me away. From the gal who fixed my order to the owner or manager that followed up with me I gotta say just all around fantastic customer service.
We came here very hungry. After a more than 45 minute wait we were brought horrid food. Well I did like the zucchini fries my chicken sandwich tasted only like the bun. I ordered the ranch chicken sandwich and could not taste the ranch or chicken even the bacon had no flavor. I ended up not finishing my sandwich the kids (three) ate five bites of the little Jimmy's cheese burgers and didn't want them. I've never experienced my daughter not wanting a cheese burger as it's her favorite food. My wife ate about a third of her BBQ burger. We ended up going to Wendy's drive through and had to alter our springbreak plans because of lost time. I definitely don't recommend this place.
Sorry, but pretty disappointed. We hadn't been to Jimmy's in quite a while, and were shocked at how much their prices have gone up. And the burger's were not as good as they used to be.
So I had a craving for a really good burger, walked into the credit union and was talking about it with the staff. I asked who has the best, juiciest burger in town. All three ladies said you need to go to Jimmy's! I must say, I walked in and felt a classic(I've been doing this for years) kind of old school burger joint vibe. Beautiful selection of burgers to choose from, as well as a few great appetizers and they're shakes are amazing!!! With a multitude of options and the ability to blend them. Let's just say about 15 people came and went while I sat there. All of them got a shake with the meal they ordered! Lol. Staff was incredible and friendly. I will definitely be making this a regular spot in my time in Gp!
I'll return for sure..*UPDATE*returned, and it was amazing.. the hand dipped corndog in thier house beer batter, oh man, best. Ever. Once again the burgers cooked perfect and topped just right.. then to cap it off 200% ..perfectly crisp fries.. everytime. Definitely a win for a spot to grab delicious grub....*********Loaded with shrooms & swiss. Cooked right, served with respect and consistency. Not to mention prices are on point and cooked to order -quick with care.
This is by far the best place in town to get a good burger worth your money and time. The owner is really nice too! I would definitely recommend going here!!
