We're in the middle of moving, so we don't exactly have our cooking situation set up. We went to the Black Bear Diner just to check it out. The hostess and servers were so cheerful and kind. We ordered the Cub Scramble for our lil guy, Biscuits and Gravy, the Griz, and a Hobo Joe Omelette. Everything was great, and the portions were big enough that we had some leftovers for lunch! We ended up coming back the next day to grab a to-go order. Good value, great food! We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Our server Rodney was extremely friendly and always checked in on us. Very generous portions and very delicious food. The tuna melt and bear claw were among what we ordered. Love it!

Last time I went, it was 5/5. Sooo good. My family and I stopped in around 330 for an early dinner and the waiter was not super friendly. He would band out glasses hard on the table when giving them to us, he literally threw napkins on the table. I had a side salad and the ranch had a piece of turkey or chicken in the dressing. The ranch is was super runny like water. My turkey club had two dark hairs in it. I could not finish it. I’m not sure what changed but I was not impressed this time. I loved this restaurant.

Don’t both eating here. The food was poorly cooked and was served cold. The child’s pitas dough was completely raw.

I’ve been to about a dozen Black Bear Diner restaurants around the country. This one was the best I’ve ever been to! Our server, Rodney, was super attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was top notch and very filling, my wife and I had to take home leftovers because we couldn’t finish everything. Its convenient location right off the freeway is also a plus. I recommend this Black Bear Diner to anyone traveling on I-5 through Southern Oregon!

These servers and cooks were working their tails off. They made it clear there was a wait because of lack of kitchen staff. They were kind and good was on par with the chain!!

Cook doesn't use his mask over his face when cooking (8pm shift). I didn't notice until i was halfway through my meal. Otherwise, service staff are great and obviously care for their customers by wearing their masks correctly. I will not dine again here until pandemic has become non-lethal.

We were welcomed with a warm smile and seated immediately. Our order was promptly taken and delivered quickly.I had the Tri Tip Dip, and my husband had the Chicken Club. Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious and big! We'll be back!

This place a couple of years ago had some great food. Recently however it seems this has gone down hill. The service here is incredibly slow. The last 2 times I've been here it took me well over an hour from ordering to get my food. The restaurant was not busy And both times When the food arrived it was not great. The bottom of my burger bun was hard and stale and my breakfast biscuits were hard as a rock. The upsides: The Wait Staff are incredibly friendly! Very attentive. Very apologetic. And spread very thin. I feel so bad for themIt seems covid has really hit the quality of this place pretty hard. I truly hope they tightened up those loose ends and recover back to the quality of service they once provided

Best one I have visited yet. I love black bear and for most part I always order the same thing at every one. The chicken fried steak and eggs. This location seemed to have the most crunchy steak. I loved it.Also the biscuits seemed better here too. I don't recall other locations having them as big, but the fluff on these big ones here was also another plus. I will eat here again next time I'm passing through town
