Delicious!!! Some of the best Thai food I have had. The peanut sauce is to die for- could have eaten it alone with a spoon. Dined with some friends as I was visiting GP who dine here often. We all enjoyed everything. Can’t wait to come for another visit. The service is kind, friendly and efficient.
100% true story. We got takeout here last night (they only offer takeout). I’m from Seattle and have many choices for amazing Thai. I wasn’t expecting much and Ban Mai beat expectations. There’s only fives things you need to know about this place 1. Garlic. 2. Garlic. 3. Garlic. 4. Garlic. 5. Garlic. When we pulled up and parked 100 ft from the door and got out of the car my first thought was “Garlic”. My wife went in and got the food and put it in the back seat. Garlic. We went to our room at the Hampton. Carrying it in to our room I said to my wife “our room is going to smell like garlic”. The green papaya salad had about a half bulb of raw garlic. I really liked it, was above average for what we get in Seattle. My beef with vegetables over wide noodles was intense garlic and pretty good, probably average for Seattle. My wife wasn’t very crazy about her stir fried vegetables with deep fried tofu (it was drowning in sauce).A couple hours after dinner my wife had to get something from the car. When she got in the elevator with two other people they immediately began talking about a strong odor. My wife didn’t say anything as they finally decided it was a smell of garlic coming from someone who brought takeout to their room. The last thing she heard them say as she got off the elevator was “I hope it was better for them than for us”.I’d say it was.
Thai food is one of my favorite things to eat! This restaurant was closed most of Covid 19, but is now open and I have to say I am so happy! The food is fresh, hot, and tasty. My fav is Drunken Noodles and the good thing about it is you can have it your way...extra onion, mushrooms, etc. No mushrooms if you lean that way as well. You won't be disappointed, but one word of advise is to call ahead if you plan on dining in because they are having problems with help (as everyone is), so sometimes they aren't seating inside, just doing take out.
Good basic Thai. I had wonton soup & chicken satay. Husband had broccoli garlic stir fry. We were driving thru GP. We couldn't get thru on phone to order had to go inside. 30 wait time for fresh food.
Great service! The chicken fried rice is literally the only thing I get and is so good!! Love the little spring roll in it.
Awesome place - they made sure to clarify my dietary needs and it was really nice! Super good food too
I had the drunken noodles, it was very good, very flavorful, just honestly the portion size is not big enough... i would have needed twice that and could still have finished it.
I get take out here all the time. Always fast and yummy. Have tried probably half of the menu and it's all been good.
Beat Thai food in town by far. Been going here for years and it's always amazing!
If I am every driving through I will will be stopping here. Unlike some the idea of take out only doesn't scare me away and it shouldn't scare you neither. I was concerned because they had a help wanted sign in the door, but I can admit when I'm wrong. Service was fast, food was delicious and plentiful. If you live in the are I beg of you to apply for a job here. They need help and I need to stay open!
