Great little bakery.. Lots of nice items to choose from.. Cookies ..muffins ..cupcakes.. cheesecake cheesecake.. macaroons. cinnamon rolls.. bagels and more. Love the fresh made bagel sandwiches and burrito... yummy
We ordered a bells hot babe to share and a bear claw and brownie to also split. The jalapeño cheddar bread was so tasty and the sandwich was really a treat. I’m not a cold sandwich person but we were buying it in the morning to eat later that day. It was great and a special treat (even though I would consider a hot sandwich my kind of treat, this cold sandwich did not disappoint!) We got it with chicken as one of us doesn’t like turkey, and the quality of the chicken was so good. Delicious. The produce all complemented the meat, cheese and bread. Really hit the spot. The bear claw has amazing flaky croissant pastry and great fresh sliced almonds on top. Yum. The filling took me back as it was a little sweet like a jam and I expected more of a bear claw filling. But the pastry was so good I did enjoy it overall. The brownie was good and I enjoyed the crispy thick edges the most. Service was above and beyond and a great experience. I will stop here anytime I’m coming through grants pass. Easy to get to Babes bakery from the I-5 and easy to Get back on I-5.
Literally the best bakery sandwich I have ever had. With a wide variety and some more exotic choices, this place covers all the bases from simple to elaborate. Great coffee Too!
My daughter, who has worked as a professional baker in restaurants, bought strawberry & raspberry/blueberry cupcakes this morning from Babe's for my granddaughters 6th birthday. These are THE BEST cupcakes we have ever eaten. The cake was moist, fluffy, sweet, springy, and delicious. The frosting is to DIE for, so creamy, smooth, sweet, but not too sweet, it melted in our mouths. Both the cupcakes and the frosting were made with FRESH FRUIT! We cannot wait to find any excuse to go back to Babe's Bakery.
This place is amazing. They have the best sandwiches I've ever tasted and they're portions are the size of your head. My only complaint is that they aren't open longer in the day so I can further savor and enjoy their ranchy ultimate pork sandwiches.
One star. They don't post breakfast hours on their website or anywhere else it seems. I ordered a sandwich, 2 cookies and and strawberry banana smoothie. I received the sandwich and an orange flavored smoothie. Very disappointing, I should have double checked that I had everything but they handed it out and said thanks & closed the deive thru window. Already heard some disappointing rumors about how they treat their employees as well, this was just additional proof not to bother with this place again.
Oh, Babe. YES! That bakery menu is perfect - divided into columns of Sweet and Savory. The fresh baked bread, artfully used to create scrumptious sandwiches. My husband had the smoothie, blended fresh fruit and it was just what we needed to finish the meal. If there was anything left I would have posted photos!
Destroyer- Best breakfast sandwich eaten on the west coast….hands down!I ordered it with everything bagel - and the bagels itself was fabulous, this was a very fat breakfast sandwich. Filled with homemade bacon that has artisan salt, deli style ham, scrambled eggs (about a 3 large egg equivalent), sweet peppers (really complemented the bacon and ham flavors), along with their special sauces brought this sandwich over the top!
Super nice workers.Veggie sandwich, chips, drink and a slice of cheesecake was $26. A side of Mayo was $1.75.Pretty pricey.I doubt I’ll go back.My sandwich (hummus hipster) was dry and lacking. The bread was good, but not $26 good.I had high hopes :(
I have been here often and always been happy with items I've purchased, however it was a different story today. I ordered a 1/2 grilled cheese (without pepper jack). When my order arrived there was a single slice of cheddar cheese on two very large pieces of bread that were smeared with some cream cheese. So disappointing ☹️
