Al is a big tough guy can come off mean if your homeless and such . Noticed I picked up trash around town for free and well he is a big teddy bear that cooks a really good meal . Like a big hug from mom . Good homestyle Mediterranean love .
This man knows his Mediterranean cooking! My husband and I are full. The meat was moist. When I asked for a spice of 10/10...he delivered ..but the flavor wasn't overpowered by it. GET THE CARROT BOMB! Super delicious. Also, we loved the baklava. We are soo glad we made the choice to try. Please, please, please don't pass them up on your way!!!!
Amazing food truck. Had a couple great Mediterranean go-to’s when I lived in NYC and always miss them. This is worth the stop. So tasty, such a gem. He will tell you what his specialties are and what he makes from scratch. He gave me samples, too! Cannot recommend highly enough if you are someone who enjoys this cuisine. I will be back.
Al and his family are very friendly. Al has a few signature dishes. I really enjoyed his hummus dish. The sandwich that i ordered was delicious and colorful with fresh veggies , tender meat and the feta cheese just topped it off..
My husband and I thought we would try this place. I ordered a rice bowl and he ordered what is called a plate. We also ordered a carrot bomb to try, which we never got. We took this home, I had eaten just under half of mine when my stomach started to hurt. ( Just a side note the food is not that great..) Within 5 minutes I was so sick to my stomach. I would not recommend eating at this place.
So good. Got two salads one for me and one for my wife. My wife ate like 1/3 of hers lol. Al was super generous with portions and even gave us a little bulgur salad as an appetizer. Fantastic spot for a satisfying bite prepared with care.
We stopped by to see our friend Al and grub out on some of his incredible creations. Al is an amazing friend and fantastic chef, you can taste every ounce of his passion for food in each bite. If you haven't been here, you are missing out! Never had good Mediterranean food??? Not sure its for you? Trust me, my friend, stop by and let Al take you on a culinary adventure! You are so lucky to have him, Grant's Pass!!!!P.S. Get the baklava, diets are stupid.
Great service and chef is really passionate. Best gyro in Oregon, spicy and non-spicy, and fresh product. Highly recommend it!
Had it for the time and was very surprised. Incredibly good food! Some of the best food I’ve had in Grants Pass in while. Would highly recommend to anyone!
YOU WANT TO EAT HERE. We were fueling up and saw the food truck. We love Mediterranean food so we stopped by--and we'll be back tomorrow! Google page said closed but the truck was open. The owner stacks his own meat and was very aware and knowledgeable of my need to be gluten free (he does *not* use flour in the layers!). Super nice guy. I'm obsessed with the salad and my husband devoured his Bazuuka. We both got the pickled cabbage, tzatziki, and feta add-on. I got spice level 6, husband got 8 (choice of 1-10) and it was all so perfect. You gotta try this place. It's the real deal. Thanks Al!
