Mmmm…mmm…good! Wayback burger is delicious. One of my children’s favorite meals is burgers, so of course we had to check this place out. It was really good. The ranch was not very flavorful and was reminiscent of plastic. Hopefully they will get a better supplier for ranch. Other than that, we have 0 complaints…except everything is expensive these days. $30 for two chicken sandwiches one order of fries and two drinks.
Came here to eat with my husband for the first time and man have I been missing out! My MIL is part of the Foodies group on Facebook and this was one of many places they were raving about. I've been in Eugene for several years now and the places we have to eat here are insane, we truly are spoiled!After looking over the menu we decided to do "Craft Your Own Single" my choices I picked were mushrooms, grilled onions, bacon (costs extra), Swiss cheese, and instead of mayo I chose their Wayback Gold Sauce. We also shared a large order of fries and they were the perfect amount of soft and crispy. We also got some ranch, honey mustard, and more Wayback Gold Sauce to dip our fries and burgers in. The Wayback Gold Sauce reminds me of Red Robin's campfire sauce but I like Waybacks better :)Hands down one of the best shroom burgers I have had of all the places I've been so far. Shroom burgers are usually my go to at restaurants I've never been to because if they can make a mean burger, from my experience, the rest of the menu is amazing and Wayback takes the cake. Cooked to perfection and tastes of quality. Which quality I've noticed has an effect on my gut and after eating here I felt no discomfort. It's just that good!I HIGHLY recommend them, they've been in Eugene a long time and I can see why. The service is great and they will answer any questions you might have. So bring your kids, family, a date, or yourself and I promise your stomach will thank you!
I went on a Tuesday didn't know about the kids eating free they didn't suggest anything so we missed out on that, the burgers were the best I had in some time and the lady taking our order was patient and kind to the children and when it came to me which was very surprising cause I'm very indecisive. lol I'll get pics next time, it was very clean and appealing.
I've heard great things about Wayback, and I've finally made it in... I so regret not listening to my friends sooner. The staff was very friendly, and made spot on reccomdations. The food was fresh tasting, and the burgers were very lean. I can't say enough good things about Wayback. I'll definitely be a return customer, and I recommend any, and everybody who's into this sort of old school delicious burgers. ENJOY!!!
There is no customer service here. ordered over $89 got my order wrong. And they wouldn't remake it right. manager is sleazy and lazy.
Even though they are short staffed like everyone right now, the food is still well made and the wait was reasonable.
If you don't have the staff or compacity to carry the load/timely fulfill orders then it only reasonable to NOT except so many orders! It is inconsiderate and not fair to your patrons or your hard working staff. Paying customers in the restaurant should be told there will a 30-40 minute wait if they want to put an order in because They take unlimited online and doordash orders that will come before you. A restaurant that is off of our list due to poor management. pretty sad.
Food was phenomenal. There hamburgers where very well seasoned. 100% Recommend. First time. I was very impressed.
I love way backs burgers but today I got a Philly cheesesteak instead to mix it up it’s one of the most expensive items on the menu 10$ so I thought it would be good it was terrible maybe the cook didn’t wanna be here or something but never again
Great burgers and sides for a decent price. Even when understaffed the team there kicked out my lunch in no time at all with a busy dining room! Have been going here for over a year now and will continue to do so.
