My wife ordered a delivery order from Umiya, however, what we recieved is literally covered in hair. I don't mind "a hair" in my food, but this is absurd. Zoom in on the photo and see for yourself.
Great food selection and service. Went at a busy time on a weekend and was seated fairly quickly. We got appetizers as well as sushi and tonkatsu. Everything g was well prepared and cooked.
Gluten free options are clearly labeled on web menu only. Limited choices so I opted for nigiri which was barely edible. Of the six pieces, I managed 4.5. Also, service was sooooooooo slow.
Freshest sushi I've had in the Eugene/Springfield area in years! And it was delivered by DoorDash. Thanks for helping make our after-wedding celebration delicious.
Best sushi in Eugene I have EVER had. My fiancé and I come here all the time and I would literally sell my soul for this good of sushi.
Very Rude waitress haven’t been impressed with their food in the past and though I try it again, but after our horrible experience with the waitress I won’t go to that establishment again. Went to Izumi and had wonderful waitress, the staff was professional and their happy hour was awesome and the place was packed!
Had a great experience here! True, you can't compare with sushi places in the Bay Area or up in Portland, but it was a perfect treat when I made the drive from SF to Seattle. Location was convenient, service was prompt and the food was good enough. Although it was a little bit pricey, the portions were large that I walked out happily 80% full.
We wandered in here randomly because the atmosphere seemed nice and I was blown away by the quality of everything. Miso was well done, not too salty, fish seemed fresh - we had sashimi, poke salad and the house Umiya roll so lots of fresh fish. The green tea I got was good but a little over-steeped but I'm pretty picky about that :)
Good service, great sushi my favorite roll was the Columbia so yummy! Will definitely go back again soon and will recommend to friends and family.
We arrived in the middle of a rush with only 1 gentleman serving the entire time... and he did a great job! Food was delicious, prices were perfect for what you got, highly recommend this place. I got a ramen bowl and it was perfect, exactly what I was wanting on my way thru town.
