Hot and fresh food was served here. The staff was nice and explained and showed the dishes available.
There’s not a single day I go without thinking about onigiri, the people here are so nice and always helpful. Such a great alternative to fast food and always leaves us happy and full. Never give up the chance to stop buy and enjoy a healthy meal or snack!
One of my favorite places for lunch. Delicious, interesting, and filling. I prefer the cart to the sit down restaurant though.
Ume Grill is one of my favorite lunch spots. The onigiri is really good. My favorite plates are the chicken plate and the spicy pork plate. The portions are generous and the staff is friendly. Great for take out
I was so disappointed in my Beef Bulgogi plate this evening. Usually it tastes pretty good, but tonight the employees worried more about jamming loud music than paying attention to how they were cooking the food. Meat was cold and completely bland. Maybe hold off on ripping bongs and pretending your at a Phish concert until after shift! Management should have these guys washing dishes, and not cooking food cuz they have no idea what they're doing!
this was aight they kinda rude with it to fr putting lots of vegetables in it to barley any rice or choice of meat kinda mid trust me also it’s not as bad as happy cow whatever you do not go to happy cow right next to here that was not it bro
We eat here regularly. Service has become slow lately, but our teens love onigiri, so I keep going to get it.They're good about accommodating gluten intolerance which I appreciate, although they'll still put in salad dressing in the plates that has gluten and not tell you most of the time.I wish they did salmon onigiri, as they do a salmon plate.
I ordered a tofu plate. Some of the veggies in the salad were wilted, you could tell the employee was in a rush when playing the food, probably understaffed, who knows. I noticed the employee was dealing with food without gloves and then immediately proceeded to charge me for my food without washing hands.

Really great, really fresh with friendly service. Their portions are not as big and their menu is more limited (which is to be expected at a food cart location) as their Pearl location, but they do lower the price here and they are just overall great.
