This is this closest you’ll ever come to than actually being in Thailand. You guys rock and service was so nice. Ambiance of eating in a garden setting with real water running sounds with a garden background is so beautiful. You must try❤️❤️
This place was recommended to me by a friend, and now I cannot recommend it enough to other people! In my opinion Ubon is the best Thai in Eugene. I get the Glass Noodle Stir Fry, which is perfectly coated in sauce with delicious colorful vegetables. The Pad Thai is also very good, especially at the spice level 2 (although the spice is no joke!). Have not dined in yet but have hopes to in the future.
I’ve been ordering from here for a while. They have forgotten my rice a couple of times. I put a note in asking them to please remember the rice. This is what I got. I won’t be ordering from here again.
We used to LOVE it here! Back before covid changed everything. Now their focus is on to go orders and door dash. Nobody even serves your table anymore - you get your own waters, you bus your own table. We decided to dine in this time and were one of just a few tables dining inside the actual restaurant Sunday - we waited over an hour for our food and we had to ask when it was coming. One of our kids was literally in tears because we sat there so long. Our plates finally came and they were so skimpy. It looked honestly like they plucked it off another order and sprinkle it into our plates! We've been eating here for years, this was not the same. My pumpkin curry tasted so salty :( Idk what's going on but if in house customers aren't treated as a priority then they're lost forever.
Great experience good Thia food in Eugene Oregon. Bathrooms were clean. We got a lot of food. Service was a little slow but I understand staffing issues. Not all dishes needed to be spicy. Much better then the seafood place.
I ate there yesterday and it gave me stomach cramps and diarrhea within an hour. Went right through me. Tasted OK, but wow! I won't be back. I called and told them last night. They took my info, but didn't call me back. Something is wrong here.
I am a Thai lover and this place hit the spot for me. I would not go out of my way for this place but for visitors in the area or locals near by who likeThai it would do nicely. Old building that is not impressive but is maintained and clean. Great staff.
This place is GREAT! Been dining at Ubon for many years & its good every single time ?! Very nice staff great ya upon your arrival & seem anxious to serve a fabulous meal. Thank you Ubon Thai!
Since leaving Eugene I have realized what a gem this place is. I have yet to find Thai half as good. Really miss the food here. You can’t go wrong with anything you order from here, even the drinks are super good.
Ordered two dinner sized yellow curry and got two lunch sized container … when I called I was told they ran out of containers but that it was the same amount of food as would have been in the larger container … ??? $15 and not happy.
