The staff is super friendly, they have lots of beer options, alcoholic beverages. Not kid friendly since it is a bar. Great food! Their hot wings are HOT, so if you can't have hot things don't order those. They do have other wing options. Their burgers are delicious as well, very well seasoned and cooked. They have lottery machines and TV's for sports wacthing. They also offer group seating, and billiards/pool tables. Smoking area for those who smoke and outside seating that is covered. Great atmosphere.
Man I changed my rating from 3 to 5 star after going there a few more times. Everything I have ordered in the last six months were waayyy better than a corner bars food has any right to be. The pulled pork sliders on their jalapeno cheese biscuits are a freaking masterpiece. So juicy, such a perfect pairing. I have no idea why I have them a three star rating in the first place... Big thumbs or something...
If you're a fan of the mushroom burger, you must try Houndstooth's "Shrooms Dude. " I beg of you. There are so many delightfully different flavors that work so well together that make it perfect. There's not too much of one flavor or one ingredient. It is spot on. From the flavor of the bottom of the grilled bun to the taste of the perfectly grilled burger, it will leave you craving it over and over again.

Now this bar is happening!!! It's has absolutely delicious food available at all hours! Excellent seating availability. pool tables, outdoor covered smoking available. Video poker. It has the full 360 awesome going for it... And max if you read this just want to say thank you for all the great times there at the houndstooth. Max is the owner for everyone else reading. And catfish keep making awesome food. I highly recommend this establishment!!! 5*
The food here is definitely pushing 5 STAR gastropub type fare for Eugene; using selective ingredients of top quality & kitchen execution to match... the Caesar comes with a soft boiled egg and the smoked wings are excellent. The only drawback really is the location and I mean in terms of some of the foot traffic they get that I'm 100% positive they would rather not have and wouldn't have to deal with nearly as much in a different location. The building was very well remodeled IMO and is nicely updated. I want to try the crabcakes as seafood dishes are truly the measure of a competent kitchen and when done properly and consistently they can be a valuable calling card to hungry folks like you & I. A place has to earn my trust to handle & cook seafood properly and The Houndstooth has earned it.-Hungry Willy
How is the fun place to go to on Friday night and there's karaoke there. I always have had great smiles and great service from the staff and that they're always attentive to the needs of there customers
Hit and miss local pub. Party had great burger, chicken strip and fries, but I had a cold medicre french dip. Delicious soup, but disappointing chicken wings. May depend on the cook.
Seems like it was trying to be upscale with the menu choices, but it was a bit more of a pub feel. Service was good, though and it would be a solid neighborhood hang out spot.
Food was amazing! Au jus made from scratch for the French dip sandwich, fresh salad and their cheesecake was out of this world!!Great service, super chill vibe. Best meal I’ve ever found in a pub environment. Honestly would have paid more.Renovations are Covid-conscience and the staff was very attentive. Highly recommend!!
