Pretty good. Kinda overpriced though. Fried rice with shrimp = $16 before taxes and portion size is kinda tiny
I ordered tom kha noodle soup with tofu to go. It has a nice flavor but not a single vegetable. It is supposed to have tomatoes and mushrooms. It had exactly 4 little cubes of tofu. It comes in a container that is half the size of other thai restaurants for the same price. Do yourself a favor and go to Thai Time get their tom kha and get a bunch of veggies, protein, and double the amount for the same price. Disappointed.
Food was delicious and came out in a reasonable time. Music was also playing which made the experience overall really good. I got the Panang Curry with pineapple and it was delicious!
Not sure why it’s taken me so long to make a review but I have been nourished by Thai Spice for like 3 years now.I actively resist eating there everyday (so instead I eat there once a week). So freaking good. This is how good: I find myself involuntarily making sounds — literal and audible *moans* — as I eat. I can’t even help it. Every bite is so good, and I eat every bite. I’m sad when my dish is over. (To be clear, I’m not mad about portion size, I’m well aware this is *quality* food and not the freaking HomeTown Buffet).Plus their service is fantastic: friendly and efficient. I’m there all the time, ordering different things and there’s never been a mistake or issue with my order.Thank you Thai Spice!- your neighbor Erica
Food taste amazing but they literally gave us half the food with our take out order. Look at the beef compared to the chicken. And there was even less curry. Also paid $2 to add carrots to the curry, no carrots. Now I have to figure out how to feed 3 people with only enough for maybe 1.5 people. I guess you shouldn’t order 2 hours before closing because they have obviously stop caring at that point in their day.
Great flavorful Thai. Has tempeh option!
Friendly, quick and delicious. Nice open seating area feels Covid safe, bar on site with tasty drinks
The Pad See Ew......was shall we say ewwwww. It had a couple sprigs of broccoli and was just this dark brown mass that was sweet no other definable flavors. No spice let alone Thai spice. The Tom Yum was nearly tasteless mild chicken broth neither hot nor sour or anything else, as it should be. I can honestly say this was the absolute worst Thai food I have ever had on the entire West Coast. Definitely not anything that could be considered a reasonable amount for the price. But that was OK, as it was barely edible, only because we were hungry and had plenty of chili sauce at home to try to create a flavor. Back to our standbys, I hate it when you try something new and it is this disappointing. I must say the only redeeming feature was that the staff was friendly and personable.
Biggest portions and best quality Thai that I have tried in Eugene!
Thai spice is a great spot for a quick meal. The food is very delicious, authentic and easy to get to. Some of the other Thai dishes we’ve had in town are very heavy or greasy and Thai spice is always fresh and prepared right before you. This is a must have for any Thai fan. We are fond of the Thom Yum Noodle soup with medium slickness and the spicy basil fried rice. Go in for a Delicious Thai iced tea and you have the makings of a great meal! The prices are pretty standard for the fare.
