I love the comfy atmosphere of this place and have been coming for years, but the prices went up too high and the quality seems to have gone down. My dressing was not good, my salad veggies were not fresh at all and my chicken was rubbery. My husband got a turkey club and fries which he loved, and the ham and potato soup which he said tasted like it came from a can. Overall, disappointing for a place that used to always get 5 stars.
This place isn’t for the light hearted. If you care about your food quality and want good hot fresh food you need to come here. My wait time was upwards of 30 minutes. When i got my food i instantly realized what kind of establishment this is. They cook great food with great people. Good food takes time and patience. Tho my only issue is the servers. Minimal conversation minimal eye contact and didn’t get asked if i needed anything or any type of check in. i guess it’s good for those who like that style. Although they probably do it on purpose knowing the food is gonna be good either way! 10/10 for the quality and taste 8/10 for the servers definitely can do better. Great atmosphere overall
You know In today's day and age I feel people are way to picky in reviewing places And service . But this time I feel that a critical viewpoint might be good here. Walk in to a surprisingly slow dining room. Great stuff to look at in the dinning room. First we hear a server singing at the top of her lungs (very well I might add) to an older song on the radio as she wiped off a table from the last people that had gotten up. We were greeted and shown to a table. 10 minutes 2 servers and who I guess was a manager walk by not saying anything or offering drinks to our table. Eventually we get the same server that has walked pass us 3 x with 0 eye contact to take our order. The young ladies were more interested in taking care of the 2 regulars walking in then the guest at hand. Also to add to this point a table of 3 ladies had to ask to cash out a couple of times before another server entirely ran the card. Unfortunately for us the food was amazing and served hot but the service was way lacking in quality and integrity. Focus is important to each guest that walks in the doors. Not just the regulars.
Food took forever to come out and wasn't even good. Bacon tasted like cardboard, eggs tasted like powder from a box, and the strawberry topping was old and on its last leg. Our server was nice but only came by twice. Overall I really wish I would've just gone to McDonald's where the food would've been 10x better and cheaper. Will not go back.
I took my Mother and elderly Grandmother here for our weekly outing on Saturday around noon. It was kind of busy but we were seated right away at a booth near the door which was great for my Grandmother who can not walk far. Our server was very kind and attentive anticipated our needs. I am a food and beverage professional with over 30 years of experience, and the service she provided was pleasant and attentive but not intrusive. I wish that I could remember her name. Our food came quickly and prepared the way we ordered and was delicious. My Grandmother surprised us when she asked our server if "Steve" was cooking, and she said that he was. Steve is 4th of her 20 +/- Grandchildren. Thank you all for a wonderful Saturday outing. We will be back of course.
The food here is really good! The vibe inside is cool with funny old ads from the 40s and other funky stuff on the walls. Staff is very nice, calls you darling, 10/10
Used to be really good. Last few times we went our food was cold. Always get breakfast. Hashbrowns were barely browned, sausage was ice cold. Only thing that was hot was the coffee . And this place is not cheap. Not worth the money..
I was super impressed. Big plate of food with great prices. Very unexpected and pleasantly satisfied. This is my new go to spot for sure. They were so nice and the food was amazing.
Tried it once on a lunch date and it was really good! The atmosphere was great. Can't wait to go try it again.
High prices, slow service, and sub par food. Just paid 16$ for this greasy monstrosity. Who greases up a breakfast burrito? 30 min wait on a takeout order as well.
